Good facilities. Spacious bunk room and bathroom. Gordon was very helpful and obliging
Disappointed that I had to make up my bed bed in bunkroom on arrival. Not ideal if youve arrived tired from a day of hillwalking etc. First time this has been the case after staying at many different hostels in UK previously

It is a bit remote from the town but there is a caravan park nearby where you can get an evening meal

Great views, nice big family bedroom. Good sized space to eat. Friendly staff.
Tiny kitchen and shared bathroom, could lead to long delays at busy times of day. Mattress was very hard, one step above a pallet of hay.
