Very comfortable and pleasant . It was tranquil and very enjoyable.

The room was modern and clean, the main building was old, well maintained and quite grand. The whole place was in a lovely setting and quiet.

Maybe a 10:00 am checkout would be better.

Pleasant location, no atmosphere.

The room and areas were clean. The river setting was pleasant.

It is a large property and it was empty. There were no other guests. The staff were attentive but there was absolutely no atmosphere.

Lovely Weekend Away

Checking in to the property very easy. The staff were incredibly helpful and guided us to all aspects of the hotel. The rooms were very nice and only a 1-2minute walk to all hotel facilities. We paid for food and drinks in the evening which was very nice and fairly priced, we had breakfast included which was ‘buffet’ style with the staff more than ready to help. The hotel has its own car park for guests, the staff will ask for your number plate at check in so you’re able to park.

We did miss the turn for the hotel the first time we passed as it shares its location with the Henley Business School. So if you’re planning on booking that is all you need to be aware of as everything else was great.

Great value stay in lovely location

Great room in a business type hotel in a fantastic location. Excellent breakfast, comfy bed, large modern room, very clean and basically all spot on for an incredibly good rate.

Lacked a bit of atmosphere but it wa# the weekend and obviously it’s geared up for weekday stays for the conference, training course setup.

Relaxing break in a lovely location

Room was basic but modern and comfortable. Well equipped room with coffee machine, filtered water from cooler, great shower, free wifi etc. Good breakfast served in a modern dining room with views out over the grounds and river.

A memorable stay. Swish is an understatement.

The wonderful premises, like a small palace!

The room numbering in Berry Court is damaged and insufficient. There were no bedrooms over the 860s displayed. We went up and down in the lift with our cases wondering where on earth our room was until we saw a member of staff who showed us. Clearly the numbering wall plates are damaged/missing and urgently need replacing (which she appeared to know about!).

Good hotel let down massively by the restaurant meal.

Good location , I ordered a takeaway breakfast which was on time and tasty.

We had booked in for the evening meal in the main restaurant, this was a buffet , the chicken was dry and the food was uninspiring and expensive for what it was. Ordering a bottle of wine was an ordeal as we were ignored.

I Had explained in a tel call prior to arriving to the hotel that i Had a problem With mobility and that My Husband was not in good health. Due to heart surgery . I was told there was a Lift to our room . That we would have help With our bags . The Lift was on Opposite end of Building to our room . There was no help With bags . We expected dinner in the Restsurant and the restaurant was closed due to a wedding we were not told this until i asked to book a table . I had invited friends to join us i had to cancell . It was necessary to cancell our dinner arrangements and return home a day earlier . The reception staff said i could not have a refund and to call the hotel or advise the admin staff this week

beautiful grounds, convenient, and nice modernised hotel with great facilities

The check-in was absolutely rapid and reception were very helpful. I had to quickly drop off my bags before midday because I needed to run to another event nearby, and they allowed us to store our luggage in a keycard protected luggage room which was super convenient. And then when we arrived back after midnight, we were able to collect the bag by ourselves before heading to the room. The breakfast was solid, a good range of food and great service. In general the grounds of the property are absolutely beautiful. Very peaceful.

Great hotel and location, just try to avoid wedding dates!!!

First three days great. Beautiful location, room ok, food good. Then a wedding party arrived and all other hotel guests made secondary. Breakfast served cold in a back room, armchairs removed from window positions and some guests refused food whilst the wedding progressed. Coffee machines switched off during and after the wedding. Great hotel if you can possibly avoid a wedding date!!

Relaxing peaceful retreat by river

I've stayed here before. It's a breath of fresh air. Impressive main building with river frontage. Very comfortable well thought out rooms. The breakfast is superb with relaxing atmosphere and staff are all super. Its a pleasure to walk around the grounds and relax after breakfast, its just stunning in the Summer. There's no air con but you just need to plan for this , fan on blinds down.

Loved the cleanliness and size of the modern room and bathroom. Staff at reception and breakfast extremely friendly and helpful. Wonderful grounds to stroll in and watch life on the river.

Very hot when we visited and fans were provided but a/c would have been more comfortable.
