ibis budget Paris Porte d'Italie Ouest

The room was very clean and seemed like it had recently been remodeled, like everything was new. We were in Paris during a heat wave, so it was nice that the air conditioner was on and available for the whole stay, otherwise it would have been miserable. We had a group of 4, and the price was low enough for us to get a room for each couple and still save money over most other hotels with double rooms.

When they say "budget" they mean it. The room is very small, almost like a college dorm room. I like a firm mattress, but this one actually hurt my hips. The toilet and shower are both in tiny spaces that are difficult for a tall person like me. All in all, the value is good for Paris, but there is zero luxury here. If you just need a place to sleep, it's fine; but expect to spend plenty of time traveling back and forth to the center of the city.

The staff was nice and we got to leave our luggage for free storage.

The location was not great

It was clean and tidy. Facilities are new and functional well.

There is only one lift for using, waiting a lot. And the air conditioning is not working, very hot inside

Overall, the hotel was decent and offered a "you get what you pay for" experience. While it is located a bit far from the main tourist attractions, it works fine if you just need a straightforward place to stay. The only major downside was the breakfast... it had very limited options and didn't feel worth the cost. It's a fair budget option, but there is definitely room for improvement with the morning meal.
