This is great place to stay, only a few steps away from the ski lift. The room was as depicted, and great. So was our view from the balcony. The stuff is super nice and they make a real good breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

Great ski pension

Easy check in, parking next to the front door, 200m walking distance to skilift with ski depot, beautiful spa, good breakfast. Especially the personal touch by the owners is a pleasant surprise, they know who you are, ask the right questions and offer practical information. They even lend us some reading glasses after breaking our own! Restaurant across the street is very good but you must reserve in advance. For apres ski activities you need to go somewhere else as the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Overall the best ski hotel I’ve been!

A good option close to Obergurgl

We liked the location (close to the slopes), the cleanliness of the hotel and the facilities (including the new sauna area). The room itself was warm (even a bit too warm), the TV working well, the bathroom modern, enough storage space. We appreciated the good communication with the owner, as we were a bit worried with the weather before.

The area is pretty much “frozen” at night, you have to rely on buses or the personal car to go somewhere to eat. It’s perfect for skiing as Obergurgl is a nice resort, for Sölden you would take the bus for 20 mins (it runs frequently during the day). We would have expected a bit more variety for breakfast, especially when staying a whole week the options are pretty limited. I wouldn’t normally complain about this, but the price of the stay sets the expectations a bit higher in terms of offered food.
