We are not booking once again this location.

The location is ok/Not far away from the center. We have a parking place without payment and we could for 30 euro per apartament have an early check.

In the last minute before departure we have to complete a long, long list of infos for our reservation. The "house rules" are sow long to read with so many additional prices included and so many servicies that are not included that we took 3 hours for reading all, disscussed what we are allowed on the price that we had already paied. Jackuzzi is not included, if you use it you pay extra...if you do not make the correct selection on garbage you pay extra ( even if it was only 1 bin in the entire kitchen)... if the host consider that its not clean you pay extra...if you use the temperature a big higher you pay extra...things that you do not know...you find it when you are there- this was stresfull. Even the fact that the price that you have it on booking is without TVA, so your price will be bigger at the end. We were informed that we will be charged for trying to have more warm temperature - in the last day of our staying. The down apartament is realy cold, at least for a 7 degres in the night in October. The cleaning is not first class, good that we had many cleaning lotions and we could clean by ourself. The house if full of small objects without any utility and after you read the "house rules" you are affraid to touch something. The fridge is full of bottles of beer or soft drinks, you have to remouve them to use the fridge. We wait 3 days to have our invoice (normally is to have it when you leave the location /indifferent what legislation have a country for the fiscal rules). Dust and spiders. Everywhere stairs in the up-apartament - so no good for people with locomotor problems.

It's a lovely stay in walking distance from a lovely square, with a nice church, with amazing food and nice seated terraces. The interior is cozy and interesting with something to see in every corner. Two fun pinball machines and a record player with a wide variety of records available on the shelf. The jacuzzi works great and is very cozy for two people. Overall a nice stay in Turnhout.

The bedsheets and pillows were washed thoroughly and clean but still a bit wet when we got there. They got replaced immediately by a dry clean one and felt great. Perfectly handled by the great host.

I was asked for preferences upon breakfast and received more than expected, very good service. The room was upgraded and decorated in a cool retro style. Very welcoming hosts, definitely worth a recurring visit!

Nothing big to implement. Small suggestions might be installing a full shade at the window and foreseeing sockets right next to the bed to charge phone(s).

Marvelous stay, a few steps away from the city centre of Turnhout

Marvelous stay; short walk from the city center, big room with all you need and so nicely decorated. We will come back! PS: we came to have dinner at Cucina Marangon; also greatly recommended if you like Italian food and atmosphere.

Fantastische 'hidden gem' vlakbij de grote markt

Prachtig vintage retro appartement. Super sfeervol ingericht. De flipperkasten waren de max! Heerlijke koffie van een lokale koffiebranderij. Hele comfortabele bedden. Echt aan alles is gedacht en is zorg aan besteed. En de locatie is top. Dichtbij de Grote Markt en toch alle rust om ons heen. Parkeren op eigen terrein was ook prettig. Gastvrouw via WhatsApp super goed bereikbaar en erg servicegericht, ze wil het de gasten 100% naar de zin maken.

Alles was boven verwachting. De foto's op Booking.com zijn goed, maar in het echt ziet als er nog beter uit

Leuk appartement in het centrum van Turnhout.

Het was een heel leuk appartement, goede eerste indruk. Jacuzzi niet gebruikt maar zag er zeker uitnodigend uit.

Het was niet geheel schoon, best wel stoffig. Helaas was het terras niet toegankelijk vanwege reparatie aan het dak. Ik had een privé parkeerplaats geboekt maar daar zat een deurstop in de bestrating met als gevolg dat er een deel van de onderkant van mijn auto beschadigd is en ik letterlijk de brokstukken moest oprapen. De eerste reactie van de eigenaar was verdedigend (helaas). Later wel goed opgepakt. Overall de communicatie niet echt om over naar huis te schrijven. Een aanpassing aan dit gedeelte aangezien er best wel wat aantijgingen zijn vanuit de B&B eigenaar: Ik ben niet op de hoogte gesteld dat ik het vuil heb achtergelaten of dat er overlast was (de eigenaar heeft mijn Whatsapp contact en heeft hier niets over gemeld). Tevens heb ik 's nachts gebeld omdat ik de parkeerplaats had geboekt en betaald a € 15 p.d en er een andere auto stond van de gasten beneden die claimden dat ik hem aan hen had beloofd? De deurstoot mag conform zijn, maar ik kan verwachten dat als je een betaalde parkeerplek boekt deze toegankelijk is voor iedere auto of dat men gewaarschuwd wordt dat men moet oppassen. Vandaar mijn review.

Perfect!

Heerlijk rustig appartement met inrichting die ons terug bracht naar onze jeugd. Zeer gunstig gelegen om Turnhout te voet te verkennen. Contact met de host is zeer prettig, reageert razendsnel. Ben je bierliefhebber, dan is de keuken een walhalla.

- vlotte communicatie met vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaars ; veel tips gekregen - ideale locatie om Turnhout en omstreken te ontdekken - vlot toegankelijk en heel leuke cottage - cosy en nice met allerlei leuke attributen en spelen in de kamer - goed uitgeruste (aparte) keuken en douche + jacuzzi in de ruime slaapkamer - komen of terugkomen : zeker doen!
