Very friendly owners. Historical building converted to B&B. Downstairs is a dining room and a library full of books to read. Upstairs are the rooms, mine was spacious, with a good bed, and plenty of space to sit. Great shower. Delicious breakfast, beautiful presentation.

Truly a great little find whilst on our road trip through Europ 🏍️

The Hosts were lovely (and the little ones 🥰). Super friendly, nothing too much trouble. Breakfast was the best we have had and we have tried a few. Really great little place if you want to stay near the main routes whilst travelling through Europe.

Great bed, Lovely hosts, delicious breakfast

We stayed there for one night to visit a wedding in the neighborhood. The owner went the extra mile to make sure we could check in earlier to get ready. Very friendly staff and owner, very clean, great bed and shower, beautifully designed room with the old characteristics of the building. The breakfast was plenty and delicious. The owner clearly has a passion for food and uses a lot of local produce. The B&B has a nice bar/terrace outside where you can get get a drink or eat some very tasty appetizers.

The window in our room was facing a wall. Not a problem for us since we where never really there during the daytime but maybe for other guests?

A wonderful characterful property with open beams, yet with modern bathroom and facilities. The staff were absolutely excellent.

Although the upstairs room was wonderful, the staircase and the landing rail were very difficult to negotiate. They would have failed health & safety standards in the UK. The landing rail was wobbly. The stairs are very narrow. A step down and a step up are necessary to reach the landing light switch. Not recommended for the elderly or for the less mobile.

a small note is the small staircase go up to the deluxe room is too steep, would be difficult for guests who carry a big suitcase to go up to the room.

So great I would come back.

Perfect location, easy to park. Great place, great people, great experience. I planned to travel just by myself and at the last minute I had to come with my 2 boys and they were so helpful and nice. We just loved breakfast (so good with plenty of fresh, tasty choices and beautiful details like a little macaron at the end of it).

Nothing to change except maybe better pillows ? And not depending on them but so you now: you are by the church meaning the bell will wake you up at 6am :) They provide earplugs but still...

We were very happy with our stay though the kids (who slept in the living room) complained about noise from the street. But frankly, the building is so incredible that the noise is worth it.

The best B&B around Turnhout.

This B&B was really a pleasant surprise. Everything was much more than we expected. The bedroom was exceptional with large bathroom and large shower. The top of the bathroom was the private sauna. It was so nice to relaxing and to be able to enjoy finally a sauna during this covid times. The concept of the whole B&B Sillant is marvelous. Every detail is thought of and the breakfast was one of the better we had. Toon, our host, made sure you would not leave hungry. If we will be in this neighborhood again, this is the place we would go to.

Beautifully renovated hotel, amazing service a breakfast that cannot be beaten

Absolutely amazing breakfast- probably one of the best I have ever had. Lovely couple running this hotel. The place has been renovated with such care and attention to detail.

I like to sleep with the windows open, but at times the noise of traffic could be a little loud.

Excellent stay

We found the studio very comfortable and spatious. It had almost anything we could ask for and was really clean. The kitchen was well-equiped. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was nice.

The street across the B&B was busy but they have provided ear plugs.

Vooreerst was de ontvangst van gastheer Toon zeer warm, vriendelijk en persoonlijk. Een absolute aanrader voor wie van oprechte gastvrijheid houdt. Het ontbijt is tot in de puntjes verzorgd en verfijnd gepresenteerd ! Een absolute vijf sterren ervaring om de dag mee te beginnen.

Geweldig. Ga zo door

Supervriendelijk ontvangst. Alle vragen die je had, werden netjes beantwoord. 's avonds kon je nog lekker een drankje pakken uit de koelkast en het ontbijt was TOP! Heerlijk geslapen in het kingsize bed met nog de mogelijkheid in deze kamer om een privé sauna te pakken.

Super ontbijt en aimabele ontvangst! Heel vriendelijke eigenaren.

Hoewel de locatie best wel charmant is, onder de kerktoren in het pittoreske Gierle, was het wennen dat de kerk elk uur luidde. Maar daar kunnen de eigenaren uiteraard niets aan doen. Ze waren wel zo attent om oordopjes te voorzien wat wel wat verzachtte.
