Home away from home

Everything at this hotel is high level. Location, services, the food, the beach... staff makes you feel like you are part of a big family. I was first time this year and for sure is not going to be the last time, even if I have to cross an ocean to be here. Great job all!!!

Excellent.

Amazing hotel, very beautiful location. There is a pool which we did not try, however the sea is right in front of the hotel and it is amazing! The breakfast was rich, with good options. We also tried the spa which is a great experience. We had a spa day and a massage and we would definately recommend it. Additionally the roof top restaurant is serving excellent food and the stuff was as well very friendly.

Nothing in particular, the only thing that was not to our taste was the coffee. Can't really say annything else "negative".

enjoyable, relaxing stay

The food was delicious, the staff was very helpful, positive and the service was fast. The beach had plenty of sunbeds, so we didn't face any issues finding space. The sea is beautiful; clean and warm. The room was very spacious and clean. I had the massage service as an extra and was very happy with the professionalism of the service from Angela.

The a la carte restaurant service can be improved; it is provided in very limited hours and the menu is not very clear. A fish restaurant/tavern service would be good.

Absolutely great time and a great place for a relaxing holiday.

The location is amazing, the staff were lovely and helpful and the food was great. The rooms were spacious and clean. I would definitely recommend Anthemus Sea Beach Hotel and Spa.

My only reservation was the lack of vegan options on the menu, as a vegan I found it surprising as I know there are many great milk free produce in Greece.

One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in

The best impression is the staff who are really trying to provide you with the best service and experience during your stay. The hotel is dedicated to families and older people, but it can also be a nice place for couples looking for a relaxing vacation. Everything about our stay was wonderful. The room was very modern and spacious. There were a good number of activities daily and nightly, especially for the kids in the evening. The animation team was really great. There is even a dedicated section in the main restaurant for people who would like to have a meal in a quiet area. I will definitely consider coming back in the future, maybe even next year.

The variety of food during the breakfast and dinner could be improved, but it is still decently good the way it is now. And of course, the price can be a bit lower, it seams prices are skyrocket comparing to last year.

Everything apart from the food was perfect.

The food was very bad - at breakfast, at dinner, at the beach bar. There was a good variety but the ingredients were of a very low quality.

Amazing resort for couples and families

Nice location in Halkidiki( must have car to travel around or use their shuttle) Top top hospitality in every aspect, very caring staff in all facilities. Had SPA treatments, awesome private beach. Top food with great variety Room is large clean and comfortable with spacious balcony (junior suite) The staff spoiled us with cake for birthday and assisted to arrange flowers bouquet for extra charge. Theres private parking on property.

There’s kettle in the room but no tea or coffee (costs 4-6 eu in the bar!!) No water or drinks at dinner- need to purchase

we really enjoyed this place- the beach, pools, breakfast and dinner were above expectations. We also received an upgrade courtesy of a friendly staff member.

The taverna with a la carte menu was average... compared to the buffet dinner that was truly excellent.

Pleasant stay in a good-looking resort, but I didn't leave feeling I was in a classy 5-star.

Breakfast is very good. The hotel is crowded, but that's only felt during breakfast. The rest of the time it feels spacious. Staff were pleasant. The hotel grounds are very pretty.

Transparent bathroom and shower is problematic for a room with children. The walk-in shower wasn't functioning. No coffee machine in the room, for a 5-star hotel? There is a feeling of nickel-and-diming with you having to pay for the silliest extras such as water during dinner. The prices aren't listed and when you leave the hotel you expect to pay 10-15 euros for what you took, and end up surprised with a bill of 60 euros. Cleanliness of the pool and public areas is ok but not excellent. Room service skipped our room one day.

Enjoyed the stay at a very nice hotel. Take read at the comments... they can make a difference!

Upon arrival we got a room upgrade, which was greatly appreciated! The first 4days of our stay, the hotel was fairly quiet, afterwards it was more crowed. Very nice and well maintained area. Food in the restaurant was good and with variation.

Cleaning lady entered the room twice eventhough we told her to wait 5-10 minutes so we could leave. Pool upstairs is open 10:00 - 19:00, at 18:15 the staff starts to take the towels from the beds, close the parasols etc... not really an relaxing feeling for the last 45mins, not really a 5* service. Food & drinks are ridiculously expensive, even for a 5* hotel. Beers at 7 EUR (other places ranging from 3,5 to 5 EUR). Water free at breakfast but not at dinner? We left the hotel at 7am and weren't able to shower as we found out the water is cut off at night? Nobody told us eventhough we settled the bill the evening before and requested luggage pick-up at 6:40am. Plenty of staff and a visible manager, yet I believe the team could do with less staff and a better coaching to make the experience unforgettable instead of 'ok'.

The rooms were well appointed, the beds comfortable. The beach was beautiful and well maintained. The food service was excellent. We loved our stay. The front desk helped us with every need including arranging transportation for us to and from the airport.

Nearby beach and Pool made our stay very comfortable. Beautiful spacious room with sea & pool view. Excellent choice of buffet breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Ideal for families with children.

Superb

Hotel was absolutely wonderful. Staff has upgraded us in a room convenient for the strollers. Food was delicious as well as the staff and the hotel amenities.

There was one huge deal breaker for my family. We were traveling with a baby and all we needed was peaceful and quiet nights. This is something we failed to get since the hotel is organizing amusement every evening, and it was so loud that although our baby was sleeping behind fully closed glass doors, she was waking up frequently. This is somethin, 5 star hotel should pay attention to, since in 2022 peace is something we all need.

Amazing quantity and choices for both breakfast and dinner. If only the cooks would know what they are doing and the food was hot...

The hotel is very nice, but also very expensive. It is totally unacceptable that I have to pay yet again for using the advertised indoor-pool. (5€ per 2h window, so even for a short swim). And why post the information that everyday at 5PM there is volleyball? I went to the court three days in a row, no one showed up and when I finally tracked down someone from your team they admitted that they don't like the game and don't even have a ball.

One of the best hotels we have stayed at, our Junior Suite Seafront was fabulous.

From the warm welcome to the excellent facilities we had a truly memorable stay. My wife and I were delighted with our room, the Junior Suite Seafront. Modern, spacious, marble everywhere with an excellent bathroom. Having a supermarket on site was very convenient although others are available within 10 minute’s drive. The main Elia restaurant food was varied, plentiful and excellent. We went to the Taverna one evening which offered a chargeable a la carte menu or a set menu included with half board - the food was great and could have fed 4 of us let alone 2! The pools and beach always had beds (visit mid September) and whilst the beach bar wasn’t cheap (€11 for a cocktail) the bar staff made lovely bespoke cocktails to order if they didn’t know the recipe. The staff were a real highlight of our entire holiday and a credit to the hotel. My birthday fell on the first day of our stay and my wife hadn’t had the chance to bring this to the attention of the hotel. Nonetheless, the staff brought a birthday cake to our table at breakfast much to my surprise and gratitude.

Genuinely nothing, it was a lovely stay in all regards.

The exceptional hotel, super clean, beautiful, stylish, and very comfortable bed. Staff was very friendly, the beach, spa and pool were excellent, clean and conveniently close to the rooms. The food, buffet style, had many varieties, fresh and tasty. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets on the beach and had a great time

The beach, the sea and the food were great. The staff in the restaurant did their best to help us. There are plenty of facilities. The children enjoyed the stay.

The sofa bed in the room was not quite comfortable. There would be enough space for a second normal bed instead of the sofa. Mosquitoes in the room were also an issue. Drinks are not freely available at dinner, you have to pay even for normal water (while at breakfast, everything is free). The village, Elia, is very small and there is not even a basic store, so one has to rely completely on what the hotel provides, or to drive for about 9-10 km (20 km to go and come back) to either Nikiti or Neos Marmaras for absolutely anything.

Superb

PRO: - cleanliness - big bathroom with both shower and bathtub - nice location with lots of green spaces, olive trees and flowers - clean beach with crystal clear shallow water, perfect for little kids - free private parking with lot of space - very good sweets at dessert - there is a mini shop with souvenirs and things to eat/drink inside

CONS: - repetitive breakfast - dinner not that varied - very few Greek/fish specialties - even if you are getting half board (breakfast and dinner included), you will not receive free drinks/water at dinner. What a pity! On every tavern in Greek you get at least water for free. Here you are paying for the dinner but you still don't have any drink included - in the evening mosquitoes are everywhere waiting for the feast! Would be nice to use some substances against them - it's a nice location but with all the PROs, it's overpriced
