Not happy

Room you could only get in one side orther side you had two climbing from the bottom of the bed to get in bed. Breakfast was cold didn't have everything it said hot plate where food was cold..receptionist arguying with man who bus conductor from a travel agency telling they get refund but they got it

One thing after another went wrong

Location .

First of all we were given a room key. Upon entering our room is was already occupied by another couple and we walked in on them getting dressed. How can a hotel give you a room that’s already in use, bad management there having to see other people Naked getting dressed it was embarrassing not just for us but the other couple to. Came back mid way through the night to swap shoes to discover we had no electric in our room and had to swap rooms half way through the night. We also had problems with our room card Not working either , was offered a full refund but still yet to Recieve it

Was disappointed with our superior king privilege room it was just the same as my friends standard room in fact his was better as there was a bath ours only had a shower

Comfy bed ,good location ,staff fine would stay again,but not with that shower.

Cereal section good ,drinks section ok ,cooked section basic , staff very helpful .

The shower room 318 only just warm didnt matter how you turned the adjuster, low pressure, not very good . The tv 20ft away , the barhroom exrtacter very noisy .

I was very disappointed at the breakfast we was down for 9am and 2 slices of bacon and 4 sausage that looked as though they had been there hrs asked the waitress for bread gave 6 slices a said they were short staffed 20 mins later sausage bacon came out very dry very disappointing

Way too hot in the room and heating wouldn't turn down. Street outside really loud and not appropriate to really come outside with children after 4pm due to others behaviour

Amazing

Loved pretty much everything the room was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and accommodating would definitely recommend to other people

The only issue we had was our room was on the front of the hotel so it was very loud with club music and people yelling and leaving nightclubs but it isn’t the hotels fault

The hotel corridors smell fusty. No cash payments. Lift holds 3 people. Rooms very cold. Breakfast should be included, £16 is expensive. Only half a toilet roll for 3 people.

Great for a night on the town

The bed was nice and comfortable, and the room was quiet. The air conditioning was a welcome addition, and so was the heater. It got hot then cold during the night so being able to switch between the two made it much better. The amenities were a welcome bonus, the iron and ironing board being very nice. Not many hotels do that in my experience.

The only major gripes I had were that the TV was switched off at the plug, which was behind the TV which was mounted on the wall, this meaning I had to take the tv off to turn it on. The other, and quite major thing, was the bathroom door would not close. It seemed like it was catching on something so it would not even try to close into the frame.

The staff were lovely,the only positive i have to say about this place

The hotel,the rooms were tiny, it housed people the council has placed there including alcoholics. Not exactly what you want when spending whats charged Went to dinner got drinks that come free with the main dishes,person took our order half hour waiting then they come out and say due to short staff they've shut the kitchen so we wouldn't be getting our food :/ Bed was also so so uncomfortable Had half a loo roll on holder asked for a new one in reception and they couldn't find the person so get one so got given a box of tissues🙃

Great staff, room wasn’t habitable, upgraded room was an improvement, avoid the breakfast!

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant area was well decorated

My room door was difficult to shut and there was clear damage to a lot of areas that of the hotel. The previous room occupant had urinated on the carpet and I ended up standing in it barefoot, and I had to ask to move rooms. The staff were very helpful in finding me another room, which was definitely an improvement. The hot water took a long time to work, and the breakfast was awful, coffee machine broke mid-vend, and it wasn’t a good experience. It felt the hotel is recovering from a lot of previous damage by guests, and effort was evident in the decoration, but there is still a long way to go.

Location was great, looked lovely from the outside, welcoming staff, room was spacious & clean good facilities in room.

It smelled very damp throughout the hotel corridors and rooms, carpets was very tired and dirty, some of the lights in the room didn’t work could do with more ambient lighting, the lift extremely small and wouldn’t fit the 5 people in it, the decor around the hotel was tired.

Not a bad location.

The lift was tiny, the room was tiny, and it all felt just a bit dated. This is not a standard I have got used to with a Mercury, not the best at all.
