Location and views were superb. The service was excellent with really nice staff. Food at both breakfast and dinner was very good. Spa treatments excellent and good value for money.
In room TV reception was very poor. In fact it was unwatchable which was a pity given the fact we had some bad weather during our stay. The bar service was also quite slow. This was due to the fact that there was only one person serving and they were also preparing drinks for those in the restaurant. This took priority despite the fact we were sitting at the bar which was disappointing.

Location is exceptional but transport is required to go anywhere. No pavement outside. Staff from welcome at check in, the bar and restaurant were all fantastic. Dining was first class and the food was delicious. Rooms were spotless and attention to historic Scotland was perfect.

Dinner was amazing. Location is beautiful. Very clean
Room location. Our room faced the road it was too hot to sleep with the window closed and too loud to sleep with the window open. When a car drove by it was like it was driving in the room. If you stay here get a room facing the lake. We got no sleep. The breakfast was below average. Worst bread and pastries we had in Scotland.
