Great location, incredible bright & elegant rooms, exeptional staff and body massage! Funny aninals living there: a giant turtles and her babies and some funny turkey running freely around. Staying at Jivan was great! We’ll be definitely back!

Location near Kuta restaurant areas, everything in Kuta was in walking distance. The hotel is in a lush area with idyllic outdoor spaces. Birds and turtles roam the grounds, and large koi fish swim in the ponds between the bungalows. Nice a la carte breakfast.

It’s not really the hotel’s fault, but we had to move to a different hotel after the first night because we could hardly sleep with the nighttime sounds (birds and frogs) carrying into the room. The open-air bathroom seemed exotic when we booked, but in practice it caused problems: in the evenings it filled with salamanders and insects. Geckos also got in—one even stole our hand soap and knocked items off the bathroom counter. The sliding doors of the room had gaps, which allowed various beetles, centipedes, and salamanders to enter. This was our first time with an open-air bathroom, and it will also be our last. That said, it might be part of the charm for some people, so we don’t blame the hotel for it.
