SAME SAME Bungalows by The Spot

Guter Service und sehr sauber kombiniert mit einem einfachen Check In. Schön angelegter Garten, in dem die Bungalows angeordnet sind. Die Gemeinschaftsbereiche sind ordentlich und gut betreut.

Die Bungalows mit dem Doppelbett sind in einem wackeligen Zustand und erinnern eher an ein Trampolin, als an eine stabile Bambushütte. Das Fundament sollte erneuert werden. Die neuen Einzelhütten sind dafür ein einem hervorragenden Zustand. Speisen und Getränke sind im Vergleich zum Mietpreis etwas teuerer, lohnen sich aber für das was man bekommt.

The room was way too hot for me unfortunately. I was sweating profusely the whole time. There is a fan but for me it didn’t help that much. The staff were very friendly and gave me a small extra fan which helped a bit for my second night. Also, the shower was quite grim and smelly, could be improved

It is a peaceful little haven, tucked away in a quiet part of the busy centre. It’s private & simple, beautiful traditional bungalow with very friendly & helpful staff, truly the most friendly team I have experienced while travelling solo. The food at the restaurant was incredible too, highly recommend.

The water pressure in the shower isn’t great, but it’s low key & budget friendly so it didn’t impact my stay. If you’re looking for somewhere simple & relaxing, this is the spot.

A place that, in the condition we found it, I consider seriously unsafe. This is not about a lack of luxury or simply staying somewhere “rustic.” This is about basic safety and maintenance. While I was stepping down from the bungalow, the bamboo flooring gave way and literally broke under my feet. I could easily have fallen and seriously injured myself. The photos clearly show the condition of the structure. Even more unacceptable was the situation at my son’s bungalow: loose bricks placed horizontally were being used as entrance steps. This is an extremely unstable and makeshift solution, and he also nearly fell and hurt himself. The rest only adds to the problem: the bathroom has no proper door, only a curtain, there was only cold water, and the bungalow door has a gap of more than 10 cm at the bottom. The gap is so large that a cat actually managed to get inside the room. I have absolutely no problem with simple, natural or eco-friendly accommodation, but this has nothing to do with style or expectations. Being rustic does not justify deteriorated structures, improvised access steps, or conditions that can put guests at risk. In my opinion, before continuing to rent out these bungalows, the owners should carry out a serious safety inspection and repair what is clearly deteriorated. A guest should not risk ending up in hospital simply by entering or leaving the bungalow.
