This is a magical and unique place. A lot of thought and detail went into the rebuilding of this home; truly an artist place. The home was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the grounds and the location is quiet and a ideal to explore the mountain and sea areas of Malaga.

Nicest and coziest place I’ve ever stayed!

When you enter from the street, you have the feeling to enter paradise - all the plants and trees in the garden are lush, the painted furniture, artwork just make you feel welcome. The whole place is an artwork, place of expressed creativity, very well looked after, spotless clean and beautifully created till the last detail. The little apartment we have stayed in is very nicely organised and has everything you need- Livingroom with integarted fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, bedroom. In front of the apartment, a little patio/garden with a bathtub under the sky makes the place even more romantic! Is great to be in a bath tub under the stars😍 The hosts were very kind and available when needed.

Cosy garden paradise

Perfect for a little getaway away from the city and so easy to get to via the train from Malaga centre. There was so much attention to detail with gorgeous colorful art, personalized welcome messages and a complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival. Marina and Mike were so open and friendly and gave us space to relax and disconnect. The outdoor garden bath and sweet dog Ruth were highlights. We can’t wait to come back!

Delightful and super comfortable oasis in the hills

Absolutely wonderful place! So beautifully designed with art and gorgeous touches everywhere and so many bits and pieces to admire. It was so incredibly well stocked with absolutely everything we needed and more - a welcome bottle of wine, free snacks like nuts, olives and popcorn plus all the basics and more on hand for use like milk, bread, coffee and tea, hot chocolate, oil, herbs and spices, filtered water... The apartment was massive and quirky, funky and so gorgeous and sitting outside in one of the many shaded spots was wonderful too. A real garden of arty tranquility. Excellent location - handy for train travel as it's next to the station and a nice walk into town. Friendly hosts, lovely cat, an absolute gem of a place.

I really couldn't fault a single thing but if pushed the single bed near the window made the slightest rattling noise when my son rolled over in bed! And the ensuite bathroom door didn't always shut perfectly. But none of these were a bother and everything else was absolutely perfect!

Fantastisk trädgård. Lyx med såväl jacuzzi och kallpool. Smakfullt inrett och mycket hjälpsam ägare. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka till detta underbara ställe och charmiga by😊

Vriendelijke eigenaren, geïnteresseerd en toegankelijk. Bijzondere- en eenvoudige appartement, van alle gemakken voorzien. Prima locatie, lang het spoor, waar je weinig hinder van ondervindt.

Uitstekend appartement voor warme maanden.

Kunstzinnige inrichting van huis en tuin. Diverse extra's aanwezig in keuken. Informatie over de omgeving. Veel te ondernemen in omgeving binnen 1 uur rijafstand.

Wij waren er in maart 2025, een koude en natte periode. Het appartement was daardoor erg klam. Voor de nacht waren er voldoende dekens en werkte de verwarmingfunctievan de airco prima. Op de dag en avond was het echter frisjes in de woonkamer.

jardin très agréable mais il faut choisir le grand appartement et pas le petit qui est très décevant

Site très joli, faisant penser à un petit oasis de fraicheur, belle décoration et jardin très agréable. Heureusement qu'il y a ce petit jardin privatif à l'extérieur avec une baignoire à bulles appréciable après une journée fatigante. Bon emplacement pour visiter la région Hôtes très avenants et à l'écoute

Nous pensons que le grand appartement est très bien et mérite une note de 9. Mais le petit appartement n'est pas comparable et n'est pas agréable car il n'a aucune fenêtre !!l et est bas de plafond, très sombre. C'est un appartement un peu étouffant, très petit qui fait penser à une maison troglodyte. Le wc est dans la douche avec un lavabo minuscule sans possibilité de poser ces affaires de toilette et aucune aération dans la douche qui devient vite un sauna. Il n'y a aucun rangement (pas de meuble ou placard), il faut poser toutes ces affaires sur un troisième lit (mais si vous êtes 3 ?). Quand on passe plusieurs jours, c'est un appartement un peu étouffant et pas fonctionnel...heureusement qu'il y a le jardin (s'il fait beau). Nous n'avons pas réussi à faire marcher la TV. Autre désagrément le bruit : le bruit des trains n'est pas gênant car il y en a peu, mais selon la direction du vent il y a des avions qui passent toutes les 5 min juste au dessus de la maison jusque tard dans la nuit. Sur 4 jours nous avons eu 2 jours avec des avions. Il est loin du centre animé d'Alora où il y a les bons restaurants et commerces, il faut y aller obligatoirement avec un véhicule (ça monte beaucoup)
