IMPONING NATURE AND CULTURE NEARBY
The still Andalusian, at least 3000 years old small town Álora is located in the center of the 'Valle del Guadalhorce', the fertile hinterland of the 'Costa del Sol'. The nickname 'Valle del Sol' borrows it from the fact that the sun shines here on an average of 320 days a year. Álora is surrounded by sarcophagus and olive groves and varied nature reserves such as 'El Torcal', 'El Chorro with the world famous' Caminito del Rey '', the 'Sierra de las Nieves' and the magnificent, sparkling clean reservoirs near Ardales. All ideal for day trips, efficient walks and all kinds of water and mountain sports.
In Andalusia, Álora is also centrally located for day trips (by car or train?) To Granada, Córdoba and Seville. More nearby you can spend hours strolling through the pleasant Ronda, the historic Antequera, the cultural city of Málaga or Álora itself.
By train from Alora in about 30 minutes in Malaga (center or airport) and you can visit all the resorts to Fuengerola. Also Ronda and "El Chorro with" El Camiinito del Rey "can be reached by train directly from Álora.
Every day, at home, you can enjoy your lovely terrace, where you can enjoy your meal until late, from the viewpoint, delicious tapas and a good drop of wine.
