Simply amazing place to stay. Had absolutely everything you could possibly want, superb location and incredible views from the veranda and bedroom. Nothing was missing, will definitely return and would recommend to anyone having a stay in Alora.

Our stay here was above and beyond what we expected. It is a home away from home with great views. The kitchen is well stocked if you want to cook your own food. It was a convenient place to stay for accessing el chorro and accessing everything in town.

When we met Maria to collect the key, she showed us around. I thought, we may have got the wrong house. It was stunning. A huge comfortable, traditional space. The terrace is a wonderful place to sit and admire the view. The town of Alora is a delight.
The only problem we had was the lack of a taxi at the station. It was a Sunday. We ended up walking which is normally fine but it was a little like climbing a mountain while dragging our cases. All part of the fun.
A wonderul stay. The house being the best bit. We loved it.
I am ashamed to say I forgot to write in the guest book though.

This place is quite simply beautiful. The location is perfect and the town is charming. It might take a moment to adjust to the abundance of roosters and dogs that serenade you at odd hours, but really it would take something earth shattering to ruin the impression of such an amazing place. I would certainly stay here again and highly recommend it!

The house is restored to a very high standard whilst retaining the charm and character of a traditional Spanish townhouse, it was much more spacious than we’d expected from viewing the photographs, they don’t do it justice. It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped, the beds were super comfortable and the shower spacious and powerful.
Whilst relaxing on the terrace with incredible scenes of mountains and castle it was hard to believe we were in the centre of town.
Álora is a lovely traditional town, people are very friendly and they seem to appreciate visitors who at least try to communicate in Spanish as many don’t speak other languages. We chose this town as we were visiting Caminito del Rey, we spent 2 weeks in Benalmadena & 2 weeks in Álora, I wish we’d spent the whole time in Álora as it was far better.
We would definitely recommend this property.

Eine sehr geräumige, sehr saubere und voll ausgestattete Ferienwohnung. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse über Álora ist ein Trsum und allein schon die Reise wert. Aber auch das zwar etwas dunkle aber geräumige und zugleich gemütlich dekorierte Wohnzimmer wussten zu überzeugen. Dir offene Wohnküche hat beim Kochen richtig Spaß gemacht. Alle Geräte und Küchenutensilien sind in einem hervorragenden Zustand. Die Badezimmer sind mit großen Duschen und einer Fülle an Handtüchern ausgestattet. Die Waschmaschine funktioniert einwandfrei und die Wäsche kann auf einem Ständer oder auf der Dachterrasse getrocknet werden.
Wir haben uns hier absolut wohl gefühlt und die zwei Wochen sehr genossen. Wir danken Frank und Pepi für die vielen Infos im Vorfeld, den lieben Empfang und die schnelle Hilfe bei Fragen.

Great house, great host
We spent two weeks in this beautifull townhouse with our two teenagers. The house had everything we needed and is located central but in a small road with little traffic. Of course it is not completly calm - it is a townhouse and you can hear dogs and cocks and the little motorcycles, but for us this is part of a town.
Alora itself we also liked a lot.
Both an absolute recommodation - house an town.

Das Haus liegt in einer kleinen ruhigen Nebenstraße des sehr schönen Ortes Álora. Die zwei Etagen sind freundlich eingerichtet. Besonders toll sind die offene Küche und die Terrassen. Hier bietet sich ein wunderschöner Ausblick über den ganzen Ort, gleichzeitig sind die Terrassen nicht einsehbar. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war sehr freundlich und die gegebenen Tipps, v.a. was den Parkplatz betraf, hilfreich. In dieser Unterkunft kann man sich rundum wohlfühlen!

Woning ligt in het centrum van Alora en is van alle gemakken voorzien. Wel moeilijk met de auto bereikbaar, maar deze kan aan de rand van het dorp geparkeerd worden. Binnen 5 minuten ben je dan bij de woning.
Woning is van alle gemakken voorzien en heeft een mooi terras met magnifiek uitzicht over het dorp en het op een tegenoverliggende heuvel gelegen kasteel.
Ideale ligging ten opzichte van de Caminito del Rey.

Das Haus befindet sich in einer kleinen Gasse, fernab vom Straßenverkehrslärm. Gleichwohl ist die Hauptstraße mit ihren Geschäften, der Bäckerei und Konditorei und dem kleinen Gemüsehändler keine einhundert Meter entfernt. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig (ca. 180 m²) und mit viel Geschmack und Liebe restauriert und eingerichtet. Unten befindet sich ein großzügiger Eingangsbereich, über eine geräumige und hübsch mit Terracottafliesen und Azulejos gestaltete Treppe gelangt man in den 1. Stock. Dort befinden sich eine große Küche (mit Induktionsherd, Backofen, Mikrowelle, Geschirrspüler, Kühlschrank und Tiefkühler) und ein großzügiger Wohn- und Essbereich mit großem Fernseher und DVD-Player, ein 1-Bett-Zimmer und ein geräumiges 2-Bettzimmer, mit einem großen Flachbildfernseher und viel Stauraum. Ein großes Badezimmer mit ebenerdiger Dusche findet sich dort ebenfalls. Im 2. Stock befindet sich ein großes Zimmer mit Doppelbett, ein großes Badezimmer mit Dusche, einschließlich Massageduschmöglichkeit, ein Ankleideraum mit großer Schrankfläche, Kommode, Bügelbrett und -eisen, ein Waschraum mit Waschmaschine, Trockner und Haushaltszubehör, sowie ein zum Trocknen der Wäsche vorbereiteter Außenbereich.
Am beeindruckendsten ist die große Terasse im 1. Stock, von der man einen wunderbaren Blick über Alora, das fruchtbare Tal, in die Berge und zu dem in der Nähe liegenden arabischen Kastell hat. Die Terasse ist hübsch begrünt, teilweise überdacht, mit großem Tisch und 6 Stühlen und einem kleinen Grill versehen. Alles in allem ist das Haus ein herrlicher Ort, um Andalusien zu erkunden, zu Fuß (z.B. kann man vom Ort durch die Calle Peligrosa eine herrliche Wanderung auf den Hausberg Monte Hacho unternehmen) oder mit dem Fahrrad (z.B. kann man über eine kaum benutzte Bergstraße mit malerischen Ausblicken nach Ardales und weiter nach El Chorro fahren) oder mit dem Auto. Die Gassen in Alora sind sehr schmal, steil und oft durch Treppen verkehrsberuhigt, was nicht jedes Navigationsgerät berücksichtigt. Es bietet sich daher an, das Auto auf dem öffentlichen und kostenfreien Parkplatz zu lassen, den man erreicht, wenn man von Malaga kommend die erste Auffahrt nach Alora nimmt. Von dort zum Haus sind es 5 Minuten Fußweg. Nur Montags muss das Auto wegen des dann dort stattfindenen Marktes woanders geparkt werden. Alora ist von Malaga aus aber auch mit dem Zug zu erreichen.

Hemos estado 5 días y no hemos podido quedar más contentos. La casa es preciosa, enorme y con unas vistas impresionantes. Además, no le falta detalle, está decorada con mucho gusto y es de lo más acogedora.
Sin duda, si volvemos por el sur, repetiremos seguro.

Las fotos y la descripción del propietario no hacen justicia a la casa. Es preciosa, muy espaciosa, cómoda, decorada con gusto. Los tres dormitorios amplios, la terraza con vistas al castillo maravillosa (hay otra arriba para usar de tendedero), la cocina integrada en el salón-comedor enorme, los servicios preciosos, el que está en la habitación grande con chorros de hidromasaje, en la casa hay de todo (bebidas, pasta de dientes, quitamanchas, botiquín completo...) parece más la casa que te presta unos días un amigo que una casa de alquiler. Está muy céntrica, cerquita de la plaza y al lado de un restaurante estupendo. Lo único tiene tres plantas y los tramos de escaleras no son aptos para personas con movilidad reducida y por supuesto imposibles para alguien con silla de ruedas.
