Location is ideal for us in the town of Torrington as we were visiting an elderly relative. Property is clean and reasonably comfortable. The owner Louise is very friendly and welcoming.
The shower controls were broken - Louise told me that it was going to be repaired soon after we left. I hope this is the case as we are returning later in the year! As others have mentioned the stairs are extremely steep.

Absolutely beautiful little cottage. The host met us on arrival and handed over the keys. Lovely friendly lady. Accommodation had everything you would want and more. The bunk beds even had a TV at the end of each bed with a rather substantial collection of DVD's for everyone. The hot tub was lovely and tucked away for privacy. This little cottage has everything you need to have a great stay be it a solo traveller or up to a family of 6. Would highly recommend 👌

Location was great for us because we came down to Devon for a friend's 40th birthday. The cottage was very homely and clean and it was perfect for our 1 night stay. The hot tub was a nice touch we didn't expect but throughly enjoyed. Would happily stay here again . 😊
The pressure of the shower was not very good and the sink was slow to go down in the bathroom as there must of been a blockage but apart from that it was excellent.

What a lovely little cottage that provided us with a fabulous night and got us close to our final destination for a huge family gathering. The hot tub was an absolute bonus and the host was exceptional. We put some music on whilst in the hot tub and she came out to tell us to have it as loud as we want, we didn't actually need it any louder but that statement really made us feel at ease. We had a wonderful evening, thank you
This was easily rectified by the host and is more of a tip for the future, the front door locks once it is closed and we got so excited about the hot tub that we locked ourself out, it might be worth having a spare, spare key in case you are ever out when the next guest inevitably does this or a lock on the door that only locks when the key is turned. As I say, the host rescued us immediately but it could have been an issue if the host wasn't in. It's totally our fault too but possibly avoidable in the future:-)

The host of the property is very welcoming and friendly lady. She always use to ask if we need anything. The property has leaflets of all nearby places to visit. There is a nice hottub that can be used anytime of the day.
We travelled with kids, so we prefer there is a washing machine in the property. The host has washing machine in the garage which we didnt use though

Lovely cottage, the hot tub was a lovely addition, the cottage is very cosy and was perfect for an over night stay for a family of 5 and a dog! There is a lovely bakery just round the corner and the park nearby was great for the kids.

The location suited us perfectly for our weekend stay. Our host Louise was very welcoming, ensured we had everything we needed and made us feel so welcome.
The cottage was very cosy, immaculately clean, had a well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds, giving us nothing to complain about.
I do feel that the garden area needs to be spruced up.

Teapot Cottage was a lovely little cottage for a small family stay. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped.
The bunk beds were two doubles which was an added bonus.
The location of the cottage within Great Torrington was ideal with shops and food outlets a short walk away.
The EV charging and parking facilities were fab.

A very tasteful, charming and comfortable property. We would recommend
Can't say we didn't like them but upstairs stairs are a bit steep and might be a problem if you are elderly. The downstairs double bunks are very comfortable.

Efficient use of space for five us - large living area and compact bedrooms - so although the cottage was small it worked perfectly for our stay. Also nice that it slept all of us without having to sleep in the living area.
Plenty of good places to get food just a few minutes walk away.
Host was friendly and helpful.
It wasn’t clear in our instructions that Teapot Cottage was at the rear of the address given by the post code - Louise the host was helpful though and it was quickly sorted out.
The cottage was great for a short stay for five but for a longer stay might be a bit cramped, or better for a smaller group.

The location, accommodation, parking was exactly what we wanted.
Not having a 'BT TV' set up at home, it was a bit fiddley but this is being really pedantic! Netflix and You Tube all OK.
