Quiet, calm and a lovely property

This property is in the middle of the countryside, which was exactly what we wanted. There are lovely walks all around and the property itself is bathed in birdsong. I went out before breakfast and watched the roe deer at the bottom of the huge garden area. Didier was extremely welcoming and even made his own bread for our breakfast. We stayed here on our way to the Amsterdam - Newcastle ferry and it was perfect. We will be making it a regular stop.

Super B&B in peaceful part of Wavre

We loved this guesthouse, a perfect overnight stay on our way home from Germany. Didier and his wife were very friendly and eager to ensure all was good. Breakfast was wonderful, lots of home made goodies - bread, honey, quince jams, apple juice - it really was delightful! There is also use of a communal kitchen which we used after a long day driving.

I chose this place to get out of Brussels but not too far away and I had a great time with my little son. The place is modern, quiet, cosy and the housekeeper makes sure you are fully satisfied during your stay. I highly recommend Espace d or !

The hosts were very sympathetic. Among the trees, there was a peaceful, beautiful atmosphere. Rooms were big. Breakfast was great. Homemade jams were great. It was great to taste the honey of that region, she. It was nice to have breakfast in the garden🙂

Great B&B with very friendly host who was happy to do whatever to make your stay enjoyable. Excellent breakfast with fresh ingredients and free use of coffee machine.

The access road has large pot holes which made access very bumpy. If it were my place, I would have filled in the holes with some hardcore.

Fantastische plek met een top gastheer!

Espaces d'Or is een fantastische plek om een paar dagen te verblijven. Wanneer je de snelweg verlaat ben je in een paar minuten op locatie, midden in de natuur. Het is er heerlijk stil, veel bos en de eekhoorntjes rennen door de boomtoppen. Het huis is prachtig, mooi ingericht, met zorg gestyld en van alle gemakken voorzien. We kregen een fantastisch ontbijt met zelfgebakken brood, zelfgemaakte jam, appelsap van appels uit eigen tuin en verse honing van de buren. De gastheer is super vriendelijk en behulpzaam en weet wat gastvrijheid is. Wij voelden ons direct thuis. De kamers zijn heerlijk ruim, mooie badkamers, goede bedden. Echt allemaal top! Vanuit de locatie zijn eigenlijk alle leuke uitjes binnen tien minuten te bereiken, zoals Walibi, Aqualibi, Aventure Parc (klimbos), golfbaan, en gezellige stadjes met veel eettentjes waar je verrassend goed kunt eten.

Het is op zich logisch dat ze er zijn, op zo'n plek in het bos, maar de spinnetjes die overal in de hoeken en gaten zich ophielden, daar was ik minder blij mee.

Didier, der Besitzer von Espaces d‘Or, war sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Eine tolle Gastfreundschaft! Das Frühstück mit selbstgemachtem Brot und regionalen Produkten war fantastisch. Die Lage war so wunderschön am Waldrand gelegen. Wir hatten einen wirklich zauberhaften Aufenthalt! Vielen lieben Dank!

L'endroit idéal pour se déconnecter

Tout commence lorsque la réservation est faite, notre hôte nous a contacté pour connaître notre heure d'arrivée et se rendre disponible pour mieux nous accueillir. La visite des lieux avec des consignes et indications claires et très appréciables. L'hôtel très joliment décoré par une artiste (Tableaux, Sculptures et plein de petits détails) dans un style épuré et qui met en valeur les grands espaces et la nature environnante. Le cadre environnant est signé par la nature qu'on peut pleinement apprécier depuis les chambres et surtout dans la grande salle de restauration qui offre une vue apaisante sur la verdure. Le petit déjeuner est de qualité et en quantités généreuses sans gaspillage (un point très important que je peine de plus en plus à retrouver dans les hôtels "classiques") avec des produits frais et fait maison (jus, confiture, ...). Des Bandes Dessinées sont à disposition, en plus d'autres livres qu'on peut consulter sur le temps d'une pause. On baigne dans le calme et c'est idéal lorsqu'on cherche à se déconnecter du quotidien stressé et stressant. Rien ne risque d'entraver votre quiétude. Les chambres sont très bien équipées, la literie est confortable et on bouge sans se cogner (encore une fois l'espace) ! Le parking est aux portes de l'hôtel et gratuit (non, vous n'allez pas payer pour une nuitée voiture comme un peu partout aujourd'hui). Notre hôte a pris le temps de discuter avec nous pour nous conseiller une visite du musée Hergé (à Louvain la Neuve, à 10 minutes en voiture) et nous parler des évènements artistiques qu'ils organisent sur place. La propreté est un point important et primordial pour choisir l'endroit où on dort. C'est aussi propre qu'à la maison ! À la première occasion nous reviendrons pour passer plus de temps. Merci pour cet agréable séjour !

Nous avons passés un très bon séjour, nous avons été bien pris en charge du début à la fin; et avons même prolongé notre séjour de deux nuits supplémentaire. juste au top. Merci!

J'aurai aimé avoir une télévision dans la chambre.. Moi qui suis une couche tard, c'est vraiment ce qui m'a manqué.. Mais je respecte le choix de notre Hôte qui a opter pour ne pas en avoir..
