Guest House Anano

Guest House Anano was the cutest little surprise - don’t be put off by the alley entrance - inside is a lovely family run guest home where you are greeted and looked after with Georgian hospitality. The room was large and comfortable and the shared kitchen area outside the room was a wonderful addition! Tamaz helped us with getting around the area and even welcomed his with his wine to try. Excellent central location, great value for money. Will definitely return!

The owner was very friendly and helpful. He was comfortable because he controlled the temperature well so that it wouldn't be cold. It was very convenient to have a refrigerator of just the right size in the room. It was convenient because there was an easy-to-use communal kitchen outside the room but right next to it. There were no inconveniences with tableware and cooking utensils. Furthermore, I was able to spend a relaxing time with the cleanness of competing for 1st and 2nd place. Also, it should be noted that the facilities around the desk were fully equipped and there was no stress in computer work. This would be a great advantage for travelers these days. The layout of the room was well thought out and everything was easy to use. I definitely want to use it again. This is a highly recommended inn.

As for the kitchen, it would have been better if I had a slightly larger plate, and it was difficult for me to control the amount and temperature of the tap water, but neither was a big problem.

We had a very short stay at property and it met all our expectations. We booked the room 30min before arriving, had no problem to locate it and owner was ready to host us. The room was freshly cleaned. Entrance is from main street, there is a sign that leads you into interesting alley, where there is another sign next to apartment entrance. There is small shared kitchen with sink and stove for two rooms and each room has it's own bathroom and fridge. Property had everything we needed - beds to sleep in, fridge to cool the drinks, glasses to drink the wine from.

Property perfectly met our needs, but we only needed a place to sleep and make plans for the next day. Don't expect view from property, but it is in good, central location, we really liked the quiet entrance alley.
