Tamar Guest House

The hosts were very welcoming. We only stayed one night but felt most comfortable. Hope to return to Gori and stay longer in the not too distant future. Location is very good... not far from the parks, river, fortress and Stalin Museum. Locals are friendly and helpful.

Our room was right beside the room so a little on the noisy side.. after midnight it quieted down so not a big problem for us... it was the only thing we didn't enjoy during our stay.

Tamari is an incredible host. Really friendly and welcoming (usually with an offer of coffee). We were impressed that she has taught herself English to help communicate with her guests. WiFi was great, location perfect, walking distance to everything in the centre and opposite a nice park. Excellent value for money!!

Good location close to Gori Inn. Easy to locate the property.

I had informed in advance (during booking) about my estimated arrival time and received confirmation that my request will be accommodated. However, Tamar kept on messaging me about what time she should expect me. Tamar was also very unpleasant and annoying upon my check-in. She gave me a room different than the one I booked, saying that it's a free upgrade. I ended up in a room where the bedsheets where not washed after their last use from previous guest. The door of the bathroom was not closing properly and there was a bad smell because of the sewage. There was no A/C, the TV was not working. Tamar also charged me on the top of the price that I had on my booking. She is not client-oriented at all. When checking out she asked me about the room and I told her that it was bad. Before being able to explain why I was saying this, she told me "bye-bye",
