Hotel Björnson & Björnson TREE HOUSES Jasná

The hotel has an exceptional location and also the facilities, the wellness area and the food were beyond our expectations. The wellness area being amongst the trees in the nature makes the experience truly unique. The food was really really good, it showed that they really care about the guests staying in the hotel. It was various and delicious. Plus point that it is really close to the ski slopes. All in all being there was a truly unique experience.

The food was exceptional. Both breakfast and dinner options were different every day and always delicious. The spa was amazing. I found it really good that it was adults only after 8pm. We stayed in a tree house, it was really pretty with amazing views. The staff in the restaurant were always kind and spoke English well. I read a lot of reviews about the walls being slim and being able to hear everything that the neighbors do. I was afraid of this but we couldn’t hear anything from the treehouse next to ours.

The staff at the reception didn’t speak english well and were always impatient. After eating in the restaurant our clothes smelled extremely bad. It was really uncomfortable because the smell of food also stuck to other clothes. The doors were sliding in the tree house and they always got stuck so we couldn’t close them completely which was really uncomfortable because we traveled with a baby. Also we could only close the main door if we slammed it really hard (which next to a sleeping baby was not an option). We were also closed out of the house on the last day because the door wouldn’t open. It was really hot during the night, it went up to 25 degrees, all of hs woke up covered in sweat, even the baby. There was a thermostat in the room, which made us think that we could set the temperature but after speaking to the housekeeper, she informed us that only the receptionist can set the temperature. So we asked them to lower it but it was the same after this so i had to ask again, after which finally it wasn’t so warm.

It was small room but good enough and happy to find the last room available there

Our room was next to reception so sounds till midnight was really bad 🙈 i believe it because of the stairs going up and down.

Breakfast and Dinner options were good. Service is non existent, please expect that.

Our request, even though was "confirmed". some tree houses are located in very difficult spots, and if you are skiing, dragging your equipment there is incredibly difficult. We booked months in a advance, only to find out that the price dropped 2 days before our arrival and we could not cancel our stay, and re book. No one ever apologized for the inconvenience of providing the wrong tree house.
