Domus Maggiore

This place is fantastic! Such a great, central location. We had a balcony room which was fabulous and such a pretty view. This place is within walking distance of the colesseum, Trevi fountain and pantheon! We took an Uber to the vatican. The room has great air con which was a must. Lovely bathroom and the room was cleaned daily. The staff were very friendly and helpful and always got back to me right away. I will definitely be returning!!

The only suggestion I would make is to have tea/coffee cups and spoons in the room as there was a kettle but no cups.

It is close in the city. I like the place. I book the airlines in booking. Already paid. But the confirmation details about the flight the didnt send to us. Tried to contact the help center but no response. We arrive at airport upon check our name is on the list. But we need to manually check in the counter that cost us 55€ each. NEVER AGAIN TO BOOK AN AIRLINES TO BOOKING.

The hotel was close to the railway station, within a ten minute walk. It was close to good shops, a renowned Church of Rome, cafes and restaurants. The Hotel had character. Our room was of expected size but a little tired, and the bathroom although small (around 3' x5') was attractive and well presented. The staff were helpful. The room and linen were clean and the bed comfortable. The ceilings were high.

The Hotel was represented as four star but did not meet our expectations. It had no street presence or signage, we had to ask around when we reached the location, on google maps. The check in and reception was a cafe pay point. There was no foyer, we had to wait on the hot street amongst cafe tables, with our luggage, before the staff took us to our room. We then went into what appeared to be an apartment block, and up to the second floor. We went through a door with a sign on it saying Domus Maggiore. This opened onto a corridor with 5 doors off it, we had the end room with a very small balcony. It did have a good view, but the balcony was very hot. The air-conditioning was not adequate for the room. The Breakfast provided was a voucher for the cafe on the street, also not air-conditioned.
