the accomodation was in a very nice part of Lynton , with easy access to town and local amenities.

Handy location and very big breakfast.

This is a lovely building and the owner is very nice. The hot English breakfast was good with large portions. The room that we had was very basically furnished. We liked the location and could easily walk everywhere we wanted to go.

The fridge provided in the room was tiny and didn't fit anything, this was disappointing and a complete waste.

Very comfortable and clean accommodation in a convenient accommodation close to all the amenities of Lynton and Lynmouth

Very comfortable and clean accommodation in a gracious and attractive period residence. Nicola, the host, provided a delicious breakfast and helpful advice about the many amenities and places to visit in Lynton and Lynmouth. The balcony was a bonus with a table and chairs for relaxation. Gable Lodge is in a convenient location within easy walking distance of pubs, bars, restaurants, shops and the famous cliff railway down to Lynmouth. An ideal base for Exmoor and the Coast.

Perfect birthday coastal getaway!

Fabulous host, lovely room, delicious gluten-free breakfast - a perfect cosy coastal getaway. This was a birthday trip for my partner and we loved our stay. Great location, very reasonable price - we will definitely be back! Thank you Nicola! 🙂

My daughter and I really enjoyed our two night stay in Gable Lodge and hope to return later this year.

We loved it. The building is a lovely old house with beautiful Victorian features. Especially the veranda! liked the arty touches too. It is very welcoming.

Beautiful views, lovely host & wonderful location!

The host, Nicola is really lovely & we will definitely be returning! We were in room 1 right at the top with a balcony, the views were stunning/ breathtaking. You could see for miles! The bed was exceptionally comfy, room was really clean, shower was spot on, good pressure & temperature. The breakfast was amazing, really fresh ingredients. Everything you could want within a few minutes walk. We would highly recommend The Old Bank Restaurant - the food, wine & the service was fantastic.

This was a ladies get-together and we thoroughly enjoyed. The communication Nicola, the owner, from booking, right up to our stay, was friendly and welcoming. The information and guidance helped us in organising our time in Lynton. Our stay has been perfect, beds comfortable and pristine & rooms exceptionally clean, with little finishing touches with refreshment facilities. Breakfasts, again exceptional and served freshly cooked to your preference. Nothing was too much trouble for Nicola, she really made our stay easy. Thank you

Our family stayed 3 night in the house, we had a very good experience there. The room is clean, comfortable bed and lovely breakfast. The house owner is warm welcoming, provided lots of local information. The location is perfect, we love the pretty nice village.

The restaurants need to be pre-booked in the village.

Perfect spot for a visit to Lynton & Lynmouth

The host was very welcoming & helpful in every respect. The house was remarkably clean & fresh. Breakfast substantial and delicious. We had a small balcony which made the room special.The house is central to all amenities and the locals are very friendly

The only down side was the tiny WC/ shower room but this was unavoidable in the space available.

Excellent from start to finish, Anne was a wonderful host, room was perfect, likewise the full English and location. Parked the car on Friday and never got back in it again until Sunday.

We had a fantastic stay at Gable Lodge with Dave and Anne. They were perfect hosts and everything else about our stay was also perfect. The room was spotless and the breakfast first class. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly be returning in the future.

A nice couple of days break. Lovelt home made cooking. Dave and Anne couldnt have been more helpful.

Excellent choice for breakfast. Room clean and comfortable. Hosts friendly and helpful.

Gables is an excellent place to stay. Sadly very poor restaurants in Lynton/Lynmouth. One advertised evening menu but closed daily at 5pm. Fish and chip cafe in Lynmouth refused to serve tap water with a meal.
