The evening meals were exceptional, in quality and flavour. staff very friendly
At the price it would be unfair to complain about trivial issues.

Location great. Gareth the manager was welcomimg and helpful. The hotel is perfectly situated for skiers and walkers, or a visit to Blairgowrie. We took a little stroll along a small section of the Cateran Trail which passes the side of he hotel. There are several good places to eat in Blairgowrie but you need to book ahead.
The wifi was good, and the bedrooms had everything we needed.
We had 3 bedrooms booked for a 2-night stay. Restaurant service was ok on the first night: we booked a table for 7pm and perused the menu while having a drink in the bar, then were shown to our table around 7:30. Unfortunately the second night was just dreadful. We booked for 7pm and were asked to go straight to our table. We then sat there for TWO HOURS before any food appeared. Not even bread or olives or something to get started on while waiting. When the food did arrive, it was very good. I had the distinct impression that Gareth the manager was just as frustrated as we were, and it was clear that there was insufficient staff in the kitchen. Gareth did agree to waive the cost of our meal however, which was the right thing to do. I'm glad to say that the breakfast was very good. It is a bit odd that food in the restaurant has to be paid separately from the hotel bill, but you can start a tab at the bar and pay all your drinks and food at once each night. I would say that the bedrooms were 'domestically clean' but not much attention to detail such as skirtings and ledges which were very dusty. Note that the hotel door is locked during the day so you are given a code to open it. Don't go out without memorising it or writing it down!
