Would recommend for a very relaxing beach resort.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The resort has a very relaxing atmosphere with two nice pools and on a beautiful black beach. The rooms are spacious and the outdoor bathroom a pleasure to use. We enjoyed watching the locals fish at low tide. We were lucky to be staying at the resort for two local talent performances in the evenings. What a pleasure take part in. The food was incredible and the staff very personable.

We were not able to regulate the air conditioner correctly so found it either too cold or too warm if turned off.

West Bali is the true Bali experience - a beautiful property with friendly staff and good food.

3 and 1/2 hours drive from the airport but if you stayed a week it was free transportation from the airport otherwise about 75/80 AUD ( which is cheaper than my taxi to the airport on Melbourne)

This place is truly a little corner of paradise! The location is absolutely stunning — right by the ocean, with plenty of open space and a wonderfully calm atmosphere. The entire resort is beautifully designed, with lots of room to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The bungalows are cozy and charming, perfectly blending comfort and simplicity. Everything was spotless, peaceful, and perfectly organized. It’s one of those rare places where you immediately feel at ease and don’t want to leave. Simply wonderful!

An isolated paradise

While the isolation was what we are seeking a lack of awareness about the traffic made if exceptionally difficult to easily venture to other destinations. Also when we raised the issue of softness of there bed there were no solutions available to improve the softness.

Truly a 4-star stay

Puri Dajuma was the best place I’ve ever stayed in Bali. Clean, comfortable, exceptionally friendly staff. Every place in Bali does the indoor/outdoor bathroom. Dajuma has perfected it. The pools are really enjoyable and it’s the only resort I’ve seen where they have the lounge chairs facing the ocean, not the pool, a nice touch. The food in the restaurant is great, and don’t miss the tepanyaki. Just don’t be like me and eat an app beforehand. It’s a LOT of food. And the sunsets are EPIC!

If you’re a surfer, Medewi is not walkable. They have a shuttle service, but it’s not exactly reliable. I waited for 45 minutes for my ride. Best to rent a scooter.

A tranquil paradise by the sea in West Bali

We place great value on well-maintained hotels – and Puri Dajuma definitely gets a 10/10 from us. Every corner of the garden is spotless, with fresh flower arrangements placed daily to decorate the grounds. The pools are absolutely clean and well-kept. Even though the hotel was quite full, we always found our own peaceful spot to relax. We loved the beachfront location – the beach is perfect for long walks or a morning run. The food was excellent; you can really tell it’s freshly prepared with care. We also appreciated being able to rent a scooter directly from the hotel to explore the beautiful surroundings, including nearby Medewi Beach. The staff was very friendly and never intrusive. For us, it was the perfect place to unwind, and we would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful anniversary stay - thank you Puri Dajuma!

We absolutely loved Puri Dajuma! This was our final stop after my wife and I travelled around Southeast Asia for our 1-year anniversary. The staff laid out 'happy anniversary' in leaves and petals on our bed upon arrival, which was such a lovely touch and memorable for us. This hotel was bliss. The room and bathroom were exceptional. Your small cottage-style house felt very private in the midst of the grounds, and it felt like staying in a wonderfully groomed botanical garden. Loved both pools. We will certainly miss falling asleep to the sound of the ocean every night. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, my wife got sunstroke on our 2nd day here, but my wife said, if there was any good place to get ill, it was this hotel. The staff were considerate and helpful and were always on hand to make sure we were okay. Thank you to all the staff for making our final stop very memorable!

Can't think of anything! We unfortunately didn't make the most of the daily activities due to my wife being ill and didn't go on any of the excursions, so I can't comment on them.

We stayed in the two bedroom villa. Everything was beautiful, clean and well designed. The pools were great, the beach was lovely and the overfall feel of the place was divine. Easy place to have two toddlers. Highly recommend.

The place was incredible. To nitpick, it was a bit tricky having the shower outside with the kids because it was raining a lot, but it was great on the sunny days. The food at the restaurant was a bit bland for me personally. The beds could have used more than a sheet or have some stored in the room, the first night was cold. Due to the rain, the place was very damp because its open air, but this design was also part of its charm. Overall, the place was lovely.

Peaceful getaway with supportive staff!

The gardens were stunning and the sound of the ocean from everywhere at the resort was wonderful. Every person at Puri Dajuma was welcoming, friendly, helpful and truly make you feel at home. The day trips offered are lovely, and were a good way to see more of west Bali. Luna, the resident dog, was a sweet surprise to have around. Overall, everything about this resort was amazing!

Beautiful, peaceful, comfortable, relaxing and wonderful

Puri Dajuma was truly a slice of paradise. The resort was absolutely stunning, the grounds were beautiful and immaculately maintained. The rooms were gorgeous and comfortable and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. As vegan/vegetarians the food was fabulous with lots of different options to try something new each day. Definitely the kind of holiday where you can just relax and unwind from the stress of "real life". We can't wait to go back! My husband and I stayed in Villa Soka C, which was amazing, but Villa Soka A would be my request for next time. Our kids (21 & 17) had Cottages 5A & 5B which had an adjoining door and were the closest to the Villas and were also really lovely and had a pool view, but if I was requesting a Villa (for my husband & I) next time I would ask for 9A or 9B as it has an ocean view.

As it rained a few times while we were there (unseasonal for the time of year) going to the toilet at night in the rain meant getting wet as it wasn't completely covered. I also would have preferred having the fridge in the room rather than in the bathroom.

Perfect holiday, fantastic resort, highly recommend.

Beautiful resort, the photos don't do it justice, immaculate tropical gardens, super clean pools with stunning views, spacious comfortable villa with stunning outdoor bathroom, lots of comfortable outdoor furniture in a variety of sunny and shady public and more secluded locations, great food and bar service, staff were super friendly and went above and beyond to provide great service, excellent yoga classes, spa treatments and ginger tea, healthy juices, soups, room service and mentholated inhaler when my partner caught a cold. Could not fault any aspect. Will definitely stay here again for a super relaxing, restful holiday with all the creature comforts in an off the beaten track location away from the crowds.

There was some confusion around the cost of the transfer from the airport when we wanted to add stops on the way from our first location, but this was resolved in a friendly manner.

Pricey Paradise!

Breakfast was great and so was dinner. Loved being by the sea and the swimming pools were wonderful. Our room was spacious and well equipped, the bathroom was huge and had plenty of towels and toiletries. Great to have books available to swop with ones we'd read. The hotel did a touching birthday welcome by decorating our bed which I really liked.

The bed wasn't the comfiest, also there was no blanket, I like cold air and a warm bed and I had to use the towels to keep warm at night. The bath needed a jet wash clean as it smelt unpleasant when we put the spa jets on. Also the Hotel has set taxi prices which are quite high and GRAB don't always go there... luckily we got a Grab taxi 350,000IDR difference in price!

Beautiful, authentic Balinese resort stay near Medewi (West Bali)

This little resort is magical! It lies on a natural crest of the coastline overlooking a rocky point and a gorgeous long-boat statue. The gardens and grounds of the hotel are lovely and beautiful. The rooms are very spacious and nicely decorated. The outdoor bathroom/shower is really great and definitely is a unique feature. The included breakfast is generous and flavourful. There is a free shuttle service provided by the hotel to take you into Medewi town on request, which was very convenient. Overall, it is great value for money and would highly recommend.

Unfortunately, only a bed sheet is supplied - a douvet/blanket would have been nice as the air conditioning can get a little cold. The bed was also a little hard - but that might be to some people's taste.

Perfect setting for rest and recreation. Loved it.

Fabulous location, felt like the Bali one of us visited 42 years ago. Lovely room - comfortable bed, extra pillows, plenty of space and furniture to be comfortable inside and outside. Beautifully fitted bathroom. Tidy, lush grounds and gardens. Forgot to check the top pool because the beach pool was so lovely. High quality food and drinks. Friendly, helpful staff. Everything we requested was available. Didn’t want to leave and if we can…will definitely return…with family if we can.

Maybe leave the cotton blanket in a more obvious place or point it out - but honestly that was really minor. If we’d looked harder we would have found it. We only overnighted, arrived after a busy morning, so were a bit on the lazy side of things. Oh and the toilet screen didn’t quite match the bathroom decor…but that’s my taste.

Very relaxing and peaceful

The property is clean, tidy and surrounded by beautiful gardens. While the resort may be full, the ambiance is quiet and peaceful. Lots of room by the pool and on the restaurant . We enjoyed our yoga class and traditional Balinese dance concert by local dance group. The staff are delightful, attentive, interested and helpful in every way.

Stunning location, beautiful gardens, 2 lovely pools, slide & waterfall in 1 pool, swim up pool bar in other pool, sea front with brown soft Sand beach safe for swimming on one side of resort, nice walk along beach, unique designs of accommodation & some with hammocks as well as chairs for own patio, beautiful carved doors & Balinese decorations & Balinese temple in garden, his & hers basins, own fridge, plenty of hangers & a place to hang clothes to dry in bathroom

All beautiful but suggest some support & encouragement to those people who gather on beach on east beach near fishing boats to take plastic water bottles, clear plastic bags from food home with them after eating & drinking. Beach immediately in front of hotel clean & it is fantastic to have this stunning eco resort with water station etc but other people need educating. I took a large bag to do a litter pick up from beach but it was soon filled from plastic litter collected by the fishing boats on edge of East Beach & it can harm wild life e g turtles swallow the plastic.

Our family spent a wonderful week at Puri Dajuma Beach. The resort is nestled in a beautiful tropical garden on the beach front. There are two pools with good views of the ocean and all the way to Java on a clear day. A small swimming beach provides opportunities for surfing, body boarding, and swimming in the warm Indian Ocean.

Everything. The most perfect accommodation we have ever stayed in Bali (this is our 7th trip). Loved the location, massive range of facilities, food was good, transport provided to go up the road. Heaps of activities for the kids, super attentive and lovely staff. Rooms were lovely and great family option with interconnecting cottages. Pools were lovely. It was like being in a dream.

Beautiful resort for a quiet time, however not ideal with younger kids

Beautiful villas and pools, especially loved the outdoor bathroom. Yoga class and cycling tour were really amazing, and lovely to be somewhere a bit quieter.

Quite remote and shuttle often not available to get to the local minimart. Not well catered for small kids - no kids activities, equipment, menu and lots of stairs to get around, which was a bit limiting given remoteness. Also had some issues with restaurant - had to double check the bill each time as often charged items we hadn't ordered and hard to get attention of staff at times.
