A truly exceptional hotel and stay. Absolutely everything met or exceeded our expectations. Two pools, sauna, large rooms, incredibly friendly and totally professional staff. Breakfast and dinners were excellent. The hotel was an excellent value. The staff was very helpful with tips on activities, events, sights, etc.

Perfect stay

Beautiful old castle, stunning outdoor pool area, charming rooms, and a brilliant team and kitchen. Don’t leave without trying the homemade apple strudle from the chef (it‘s divine). The breakfast and dinner were both delicious, fresh and local ingredients. The team is super helpful and lovely.

Castel Rundegg was wonderful in every regard. Based on our experience and photos, our adult children are hoping to go there. The staff was outstanding and a real joy; the hotel was beautiful, although we didn't use many of the facilities (e.g., too cold for outside pool). Dining was superb. If only the bed were better..

- impressive historical building - very friendly and forthcoming staff - location is good; leisurely stroll into town is 15 mins - various bus stops and walking routes around the corner

- the bed was really hard and uncomfortable - carpeting was old and stained in some places - room 41 (single) on the ground floor was spacious, but dark - the dinner was only okay, better go into town - breakfast options plenty, but no eggs were offered. Only when asked, it turned out eggs could be made to order

Traumhaft schöner Ort um sich wohl zu fühlen, bewirtschaftet von außergewöhnlich feinen Menschen.

Das Frühstück war einfach superb, jeder Wunsch wurde von den reizenden sehr professionellen Damen des Fruehstuecksservice erfüllt. Immer mit einem Lächeln, schnell, sehr freundlich, mehr kann man vom Service nicht erwarten. Das beste Abendessen würde mit soviel Freude und Leidenschaft von KAREM serviert. Kompetenz und Freundlichkeit, das sucht man in Deutschland vergebens. Vor dem Frühstück 1 Stunde schwimmen in einem 33 Grad warmen sehr großen Pool ist das Beste überhaupt. Die Pool Landschaft ist groß zügig ausgestattet, entspannend, sauber und Wohlfühlfaktor 10. Die Saunalandschaft lässt Sorgen vergessen.

Schönes Burghotel mit kleinen Schönheitsfehlern

Schöne Lage, etwas Oberhalb vom Stadtzentrum. Zu Fuß ins Zentrum kein Problem und zurück mit dem Bus ( kostenlos) Dank TirolCard (kostenlos). Parkplatz vorhanden. Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal, jeder Wunsch wird erfüllt! Innenpool und Aussenpool vorhanden. Frühstück und Abendessen sehr gut und mit sehr guter Weinempfehlung zum Abendessen.

Was soll ich sagen, eigentlich hat alles gepasst, aber im Bad hat es irgendwie komisch gerochen… Wir kommen aber gerne wieder.

Das Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Lage fantastisch und sehr ruhig. Die Anlage punktet mit seinem Außenbereich.

Schon ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Fenster, Möbel und einiges Inventar sind abgewohnt und teilweise kaputt. Das Frühstück ist leider auch nicht so vielfältig. Die Brötchen eher altbacken.

Tolles kleines Schlösschen mit schönem Garten. Die Elisabeth Suite war sehr fein, super Blick über den Garten. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal und "Schlossherr". Und gutes typisch italienisches Frühstück

Manche Kleinigkeiten könnte man verbessern (zB alter Fön, Flaschenöffner), auch das Fitness Center hat nicht die neuesten bzw leicht kaputte Geräte :)
