Good experience with very friendly and attentive staff.

The staff at this hotel is very friendly, attentive and well organized. For example: when I arrived I was greeted by name, even though it was my first time here. Or every time I went to breakfast, my room was made up when I returned, even though I did not put any sign outside the door and not always did the cleaning staff see me going down. The location is nice and quiet, albeit a little bit off the city centre. Also the service and communication before my arrival was excellent. A question and request I had was promptly answered and taken care of. Very good breakfast.

Wifi coverage could be a little bit improved. On the second floor it is sufficient, but can become a little bit tricky if you sit out on the balcony. A few oversized people I know would have had a hard time squeezing in between the wall and the shower when going to the toilet. For a normal sized person or even a medium heavy person, it should be OK, though.

Couple getaway in Meran

The host was incredibly helpful and warm, I would come back just for her. The breakfast was delicious and varied (the staff there also very helpful and polite). The jacuzzi was a well-deserved relaxation opportunity. Good location if you want to visit both the city and the gardens, as the hotel is within walking distance of both.

Minor deduction from comfort because the city had only recently turned on the heating, so it was a bit cold in the building. We travelled beginning of October.

Beauty of Merano

Lovely hotel on a beautiful spot. It stole my heart. Just like Merano it is a magic place to be. Especcialy when you a a nature lover. Wonderfull trees flowers and birds are all over. Owner and staff are realy nice people. Breakfast I must say 5 stars! Get back next year for sure.

Great hotel with outstanding breakfast

Lovely location very accessible from the town centre by bus and very close to the botanical gardens. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we had a very large balcony. We didn't use the sauna or the hot tub but the pool was lovely. The real star of the show, however, was the superb breakfast!

Long weekend in Merano

Super friendly staff who make you feel very welcome. Superb breakfast on the common area balcony. Nice pool to swim some lanes. Free car parking at the hotel in a super quiet area. Walking distance to city centre (ca. 25min) - very clean rooms and comfortable bed plus own balcony - even though not the newest syle furniture, but all functioning very well. Super price for value. We would go again!

Comfortable stay in good location

The Zima is located well for walking to both the city centre and the Trautmansdorff Castle gardens (well worth a visit), and is in a quiet residential area. The room was large, reasonably comfortable and clean, with a huge bathroom. The lady that runs the place is very friendly and welcoming. There is onsite parking (which is a little tight if the hotel is full). Good choice of food at breakfast and good quality.

The breakfast room is a bit cramped though you can eat out on the terrace if the weather is nice. The rooms look a bit dated, with mismatched furniture but that's a personal choice.

Everything was great at this hotel, the hostess was an absolute delight with a lot of friendly advice for places to eat and visit. Comfortable rooms, nice pool, delicious breakfast with homemade products. Can highly recommend staying here for a couple of nights.

Delightful Stay in Merano

The location is beautiful, just outside the city center in a lush, green setting. It was so clean and relaxing and our hostess was extremely kind and friendly. We instantly felt welcomed.

A really nice place !

Everything ! The house is located in a quiet street, with a large garden where secular trees are growing, and there is a swimming pool. After 100km by bicycle, it was paradise. The owner is a very welcoming lady, always helpful, who can speak at least German, italian, french and english. The room is large with a balcony, and the breakfast is exceptional, with home made cakes and many sorts of cheese and ham. Do not miss hotel Zima !

Urlaub in Meran

Wunderbare Lage um in das Zentrum von Meran zu gelangen. Bushaltestelle gleich um die Ecke. Aber auch zu Fuß in 15-20 min ist man im Zentrum. Frühstück ist reichhaltig und mit viel Liebe angerichtet. Die Hausherrin backt Kuchen und schlägt Sahne jeden früh auf. Das gesamte Personal ist super freundlich. Es ist einfach nur zu empfehlen.

Ruhiges gut geführtes Hotel

Herzlichkeit der Besitzerin, viele gute Tipps, fantastisches Frühstück, sehr ruhige Lage des Hotels in einer wunderschönen Wohngegend, Parkplätze direkt am Haus, 20 Min Gang bis Meran Innenstadt, 5 Min bis zum Restaurant Tanner, ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen. Das Trauttmansdorff 10 Min zu fuss zu erreichen, unbedingt!! Schöner Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen, nicht zu vergessen, die freundliche Bedienung beim Frühstück 😉

Harmonisches Hotel in dem wir jederzeit wieder buchen würden !!

Sehr schönes und sauberes Hotel, das von einer lieben Gastgeberin geführt wird. Sie ist immer präsent, mit Herz und Seele dabei und backt den Kuchen fürs tolle Frühstück selbst. Hier fühlt man sich sehr wohl. Danke auch an das liebevolle und freundliche Personal !

Heerlijk hotel voor verblijf in Meran(o)

Geweldige ligging, mooi zwembad, gratis parkeren. Heerlijk ontbijt en een geweldige, hartelijke en betrokken gastvrouw. Men ontvangt een Südtirol pas om met OV te kunnen reizen, wat ideaal is.

Comfort en hardheid van het matras, intensiteit van de douchestraal en WIFI op de kamer, maar dat mag verder de pret niet drukken, omdat de rest daar zo geweldig is.
