Carrowkeel Cabin

We loved the cabin, it was very cosy but easily spacious enough for two people. The kitchenette was tiny but adequate- we were able to make breakfast each morning and even lunch and dinner as the equipment is clearly listed and we came prepared. Our dog enjoyed sniffing around and chasing the cat. Many historical trails around and not too far from Sligo town or Benbulben either. Extremely quiet and dark at night, which was great. Overall, amazing value for money.

Lack of general waste bin was quite an inconvenience, we had to bring our rubbish across the country to dispose back at home.

The owners made it SO easy to find and were in constant contact. They were very welcoming and were genuine. The owner showed all the things in the cabin and how things worked and even left some morning snacks for the next day.

Michelle was an excellent host, helping solve a minor water issue even while she was away. The cabin is beautifully set up with incredible views, and I even got to enjoy the fresh strawberries growing jst outside it. Thank you💚

On arrival, we got to meet Michelle, very welcoming. Great heat if needed. The shower was great. The cabin was clean... Nice touch with croissant 😋. A Peaceful place. It's nice to sit outside and enjoy our morning coffee. . Plenty of blankets to wrap up if needed. There is a nice touch with lights over the beds. The location was good. Nice strawberry 🍓 bush out the front of the cabin.
