Cosy relaxing stay

Loved having the stove to light in the evenings and the fact that logs, firelighters and kindling were all provided. Michael and Maggie were very accommodating. Lovely cosy place. Also as a solo female traveller, I appreciated having the hosts nearby and responsive (while had all the privacy I needed).

Very comfortable, good value cottage

Very comfortable bed and sofas. Good size accommodation with plenty of space. Plenty of fuel for stove. Everything necessary provided. Very good value.

Not very well cleaned before our arrival. Needs some TLC, for example, hot plate old and tatty and very, very slow to heat up. (Maggie was out when we left so didn’t have an opportunity to mention this.) Would much have preferred table and chairs to breakfast bar, would be more comfortable and much more sociable and, unfortunately, the breakfast bar blocked the daylight to the seating area.

Lovely location, close to surfing beaches. Hosts very kind and helpful-left lots of wood for the fire which was much appreciated. Kitchen well equipped.

Not a problem for me but a little out of the way with its rural location. But grand and quiet.
