Arrived late and the host waited up for us and was very helpful.

The bed and electric blanket was heavenly. I loved the garden and the host was very friendly and informative.
Some of the religious artifacts is a bit too much in the lounge area

John was an attentive host and kindly waited for our arrival (late flight) at 11pm. A cosy and comfortable room was provided.
We incorrectly assumed it was a motel room due to the name (Ascot Comfort) as in the Comfort Chain of motels. Not a room in a residential house in a quiet street. There was no bathroom light or exhaust fan. $192 was excessive.
