Relaxing Two-Bedroom Retreat Near the Airport

Location

Shampoo, conditioner was empty,

Close to airport, bus stop 100 metres away, morning sun, comfortable beds, generally clean. Comunications responded to quickly

Suprised to learn a bond was requested days away from stay, well after original payment. Not on confirmation from Booking.com. Difficult to open an overseas account for payment from NZ due to money laundering regulations. A compromise was agreed with owners.

Comfy beds... location was good... great communication..

No tables or chair...insufficient amount of utensils....no access to back yard. When I asked for access so my dog could do her business, I was told my dog could do her business in the bathroom, I was lost for words... I didn't realize when I booked there would be a $200 bond, which the host asked for a few days before arrival...

location as expected. beds okay.

Firstly the manager demanded a $200 security deposit in case of damage etc which I had my friend Tina pay because my phone is not set up to access bank acc. Then he demanded my bank acc details so he could verify the payment !! Of course Tina was not going to hand that info over the phone to a stranger !! Now I have to negotiate a refund of $200 to repay Tina. I'm hoping bookoing.com can intervene on my behalf. Then the lock box didn't open. Eventually the manager gave us the code to another unit and we got in. This unit had a broken sink tap, laundry taps which wouldn't turn but the beds were okay. So no - not pleased at all. Unfortunately his accent made communicating difficult. His attitude not very friendly .
