Adequate Accommodation for Price

Quite and private, and only a 15 minute walk to town. We were also able to hire motorbikes for a fair price.

The bungalows weren’t in great condition which meant bugs were able to get in. No mosquito nets provided. One night we woke up to our whole bed covered in ants. There was no one at reception to speak to about this so my husband had to drive into town at 1am to buy ant killer. This put a massive damper on our stay as you can imagine.

Very rustic stay

The staff is friendly. It is quite close to the pier and the centre if you get a motorbike, which you can get from them. The place is immersed in nature and has a very relaxed vibe. The bar becomes alive at night if you want to meet people. The hammock is cool.

The cabins could use some extra cleaning. The sink wasn't working and there was no hot water. There's insects in the cabin but I guess that's normal considering it's in the middle of so much nature. I would've appreciated at least one change of bedsheets or someone to come and clean the room at least once during my 4-day stay. The mattress is quite hard.

The place is amazing. Relaxing, unique, central and most of all the staff are amazing. They were so nice and friendly and we ended up extending our stay as we enjoyed it so much. They have two beautiful dogs also if you are an animal lover.

The hosts were super nice and very helpfull. I would definitely go back there! They have a clamboo But if you are scared of insects it can be a little scary. (It is all clean tho) the vibes were chill and the bar and restaurant is very nice!

Disappointing

The staff were very chilled and really lovely. Very helpful when needing to rent a bike, or book a ferry to other islands.

The bungalow was full of crickets and cockroaches that got in through the cracks in the night which wasn’t too bad. However there were a couple of rats nesting inside the walls so I was woken up hourly with their walking around the room, going through the bins, or moving around the walls.

Feels like HOME

En&Nong are so lovely people. Very friendly and warm. They organized everything for us and helped us with everything. Our stay at Sabai felt like home far away from home. like a family! We expected nothing as we arrived and left with two bamboo tattoos, a smile and the certainty we gonna come back one day. We can’t recommend enough to stay there. I think it’s the perfect place if you wanna experience the real thai culture on this island. Thanks for everything En & Nong!!

The vibe in the restaurant is quite nice. Nice music. Chilled staff. Nice shady garden area with lots of chickens and roosters running around.

The bungalows are quite old and not as nice. Bathroom door was broken, mattress super old and room in generally quite smelly. They sprayed a lot of room scent before we got in and put some of those round things (shaped like a Mentos) they usually put into urinals behind the bed which didn't make the smell any better. The duvet also smelled very strong - maybe like room scent spray. The fan was quite old and didn't work well. Couldn´t rotate and only had one setting to blow quite strong. We only stayed one night as the property we stayed was full on this night. And this other property asks the same price but has clean rooms, comfy beds, mozzie nets, good fans, free breakfast, free coconuts, free cold and hot water. So I think value for money was not so good at Sabai Bungalows.

Exceptional

The hosts are very friendly and realy take care of their guests. Absolutely worth visiting this very special place, it almost feels like you are staying in a second home. They make their own handcrafted roasted coffee and the food is delicous. If you are lucky enough you can even do a little thai cooking lesson there. Thank you for making our stay realy enjoyable En and Nong! We come as guests but left as friends :)

The People in this place are sooo lovely and wonderful! Who likes meeting nice People and chilling, Sabaibungalows is the best place to stay. They will help you with everything, recommend good places and trips and even make trips with you together if you like to. They really try to give you the best experience of the island. In Addition to this, many people are there and you have the opportunity to meet locals and travellers. This place feels like Home and the People like Family.

Nice little bungalow

Hosts really friendly, can hire a moped from them which is advised as you aren’t really near anything. But if you do like waking, can walk to 7/11 in 15 mins, the beach in 45 ect. Locals are friendly if they see you walking they’ll offer you a lift. Also only 20 min walk to the pier tho which takes you to Phuket. Rooms are good and keep out the light, home made coffee in the mornings. Would recommend staying here 💃

The staff was awesome, chilled with them in the evening. When welcoming us, they gave us two bottles of cold water also.

Its suitable place for someone who loves nature and everything with it (bugs etc). There were some cockroaces im the bathroom, also big and little ants, mostly stayed in the bathroom. The traffic noise was pretty disturbing in the ealry mornging, but if u have a good night sleep, then its ok. The power went off and on several times at night, so thr fan stopped working once in a while and it was pretty hot in there.

Wenn wir die Insel nochmal besuchen, übernachten wir auf jeden Fall nochmal hier.

Die Unterkunft war deutlich besser als erwartet. Beim Buchen der Unterkunft, bin ich davon ausgegangen, dass es keine Toilette und keine Dusche in der Hütte gibt und habe mich umso mehr gefreut, dass es ein Badezimmer gab. Die Hütte war sehr gemütlich und wir haben uns mehr als wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeber sind der Wahnsinn, wir haben uns sofort gut aufgenommen gefühlt. Es gibt vor Ort die Möglichkeit einen Roller zu mieten. Außerdem kann man von der Unterkunft aus sämtliche Touren buchen. Auf die Empfehlung des Betreibers haben wir die Tour zur Hong Island gebucht (800 Baht + 300 für den Nationalpark). Es war am Ende nicht nur die Tour zu der einen Insel, sondern zu noch 4 weiteren. Die Tour war der absolute Wahnsinn und wir haben den Tag sehr genossen.

Die Mitarbeiter und Betreiber waren alle super herzlich. Man hat sich total wohlgefühlt. Silvester haben wir dann alle zusammen gefeiert und jeder hat was beigetragen.

Den Boden im Badezimmer könnte man evtl. mal erneuern, denn die Fliesen bewegen sich teilweise.
