A very nice place to stay, very quiet with a very nice and helpful staff
It says the internet is available but it’s actually not available unless the landlord shares hotspot with you

Excellent place. The location is nearby the main pier. It’s close to the active town however on a quiet street.(you will hear the Muslim prayers from the mosque)
Only two rooms, feels like it’s your own house. Very cute wooden architecture. Clean & comfortable.
Owners are a lovely couple. They are helpful with anything you want.
Only problem was the mosquitoes at night.

Beautiful house for a truly authentic experience. If your looking for an adventure this is the place to be. Aop was incredibly helpful, he got us a scooter to use for the days we were there, brought us breakfast and had plenty of recommendations for all the cool hidden spots on the island. It was a beautiful escape from the world of today. We plan on coming back and visiting as soon as we have the opportunity. I wish we had made our trip there longer.
Having to leave.

We stayed for three days and had a wonderful experience. The accommodation is set in a beautiful traditional wooden house where every detail feels thoughtfully designed. Our room was cozy and comfortable, and our host was incredibly kind, always welcoming us with a smile. She helped us with everything we needed, including renting a scooter at a good price, which we received very quickly. We were also treated to something sweet for breakfast, which was such a lovely touch. The location is perfect too, right in the city center and close to restaurants, shops, and a 7-Eleven.
There’s no Wi-Fi on the property. It wasn’t an issue for us, but it’s good to know in advance.

Staying with Tanin and Mie was one of the most heartwarming experiences I’ve had in Thailand. The house is completely handmade by Tanin, down to the ornaments, lampshades, and every little detail. It honestly feels like stepping into a Peter Pan-style Neverland—creative, peaceful, and full of soul.
This is more than just a place to stay—it’s a true Thai homestay, filled with love, warmth, and authenticity. Tanin and Mie are incredibly kind-hearted. They even cooked for me a few times without expecting anything in return, just pure generosity.
If you’re looking for a real Thai experience, hosted by genuinely big-hearted people, this is the place. I left feeling refreshed, nourished, and deeply grateful.

They did refund me the full amount that I paid and drove me to the alternate accommodation that I found (hence why I am giving them a 3/10 rather that 1/10).
I was unable to stay at Antonio's as the hosts had booked the room for another guest, but not closed off the room available on booking.com. I understand that mistakes happen, but I would have appreciated a message from them earlier in the day to alert me to this so I could make alternate arrangements. Instead, they waited for me to arrive to tell me and I was forced (at 5pm) to look for alternate accommodation (which I eventually found, but was at a much highly price that what I was going to pay at Antonio's and had prepared to budget for). Good and early communication could have improved this experience for me!

It's full of character.
The owners are really lovely and genuine.
It's a 10 minute walk to 7 eleven, the island as a whole though requires a bike/moped.
The owners let us leave the scooter at the pier when we left.
There is no WiFi, it was canceled before our arrival and we weren't updated and booking.com listing has not been updated.
Might be worth going elsewhere to rent a scooter, it will give you more choice, the one we got was older and couldn't handle some roads.

Antonio and his wife are very kind and sharing people. The place they built is homely and handmade, well located and they are both very helpful and caring. It was great to stay in their place, very connected with the natural surroundings.

The stay at Antonio’s was amazing and I would definitely stay again. There are only two rooms so the whole stay is very private and is perfect for people who want to enjoy their stay close to nature, on a secluded island and mostly among locals. The owners of the bungalow were always so nice and helpful, offering us fruits or free dinner, and taking me on a scooter to the pier where my ferry was departing from. The bungalow itself is beautiful and the room is well equipped with an AC, mosquito net and several shelves, and is overall very spacious.
Everything was amazing.

very nice and kind staff. free drinking water.
Nice wooden place.
very pleasant chilling area on the 1st floor,
very quiet and chill.
Place with a lot of potential.
Shared kitchen. When I arrive I wanted to rank it a 10 but after one day I discovered….
No water in bathroom between 9Am and 3pm and no water after 7pm all night wich is very unconfortable.
You have water tanks filled up and a little bowl to take shower and flush. i could wash my teeth with this water sorry!
it was ok because only 2 persons can live here but cleaning of bathroom, toilet and kitchen was not done everyday.
One room’s door doesnt lock properly.

The bungalow is amazing! Beautifully done, all in bamboo.
It is in a great location, close to the market and to really nice beaches.
The couple (May and Hung) are super welcoming and May is a fantastic cook.
You can watch the sunrise from the balcony and it is a great space to relax and meditate / do yoga.

hosts were absolute sweethearts and loved to chat and share their unique way of life. more of a home stay than a guesthouse, which made the experience that much more special. custom wood made home by the owner op, who is a talented artist.

Antonios has only two rooms there which means that when booking two rooms as we did we had lots and lots of space - a whole balcony area just for us!
The hosts couldnt do enough for us, on the first night they offered to cook for us and asked nothing for it. They cooked us a whole fish and tom yam which was delightful. We were also brought lots of local foods from the market throughout the weekend such a treats wrapped in leaves and donuts! All of which they asked no money for!
Most importantly during our stay one of our group got extreme food poisioning. The hosts went out to go and get medication without prompt, again asking nothing in return. Later on it was clear we needed to head to hospital so the hosts got out of bed and took us there as they said it would be quicker and a taxi would cost lots. Antionio called to check in twice while we were at the hospital and even after telling them we would be able to make our own way home they then still stayed awake until 1.30am to check we got home safe and our sick member was recovering okay.
The next day we were given rice with soup for our sick group member as well as more treats for the other two people.
I could not recommend this accomodation more - the accommodation is rustic and beautiful as it is all home made, but even more importantly the hosts make you feel like and treat you like family ❤️
The water did stop for a couple hours which is why facilities is not rated 10/10 but this did not impact us much!

O and Mei were great hosts. Extremely welcoming. We even cooked with them, and on other nights Mei cooked us some delicious local Thai food.
The wooden house handbuilt by O is also really cool and original.
The wooden dividing wall between the two bedrooms, means you can hear your neighbor. No bother for us but it may bother some couples.

The most likeable are the owners! They are super welcoming, helpful and friendly. It directly felt like a second home. The house itself is built with lots of love and cute details. Unfortunately there are only two rooms, why we could have spend only one night. The room wasn't huge but big enough for two people with all the luggage. There are also a few terraces/outdoor areas where you can spend some time. For each room you'll have your own bathroom, which has everything you need. Except of that they provide free coffee, tea and water which is a big plus!
We would definitely come back :)
Thank you for everything ❤️

The house itself is fantastic. 90% of the building elements were hand made by Antonio. He and his wife were the most amazing hosts - they helped us with everything we needed and also cooked traditional meals for us. 100% would recommend!
The house does not have windows so expect some insects. Was not really a problem as our bed had an insect net over it and Antonio and his wife gave us incense burners to keep mosquitoes away.

the owner of the place yelled at my partner, because he blamed us for the mess of other guests. He shouted, yelled and even threatened us, so we where scared to stay another night. When my partner tried to explain that the mess wasn’t ours, the pulled a machete knife on the table.

Best place I have stayed in Thailand. Antonio and his wife are the nicest people ever and will make your stay amazing. Simple wooden house in the nature, cute and comfy. 5-10 minutes walking to the market street, scooter needed to go around the island (can be arranged at the house). I loved staying there, felt really welcomed and would come back anytime.

The whole atmosphere was great and the Bed & pool was an authentic sturdy house made from all natural resources. It had all the facilities you require except WiFi. The hosts are the kindest and most hospitable people you will ever meet.

Nature living at its best, if you're looking for a really unique experience, stay here. The couple who owns the place is lovely, the woman is a fantastic Chef (she prepared a beautiful meal for us and didn't accept our invitation to join! :( her husband is a really cheerful handyman who can build anything with his hands (including their own beautiful house), he chopped a few fresh cocos from the palm by the house just for us and grilled us beautiful fish to order and asked nothing for it! (Koh Yao style generosity) highly recommend it. Thank you both for your warm loving hospitality, we loved it :)

Owners are adorables, very kind, helpful.
They give us many advices.
Aop built the house, and this is beautiful, and very well maintain.
There is two rooms, with all what you need for stay, water, towel, soap (made by Aop), hot shower, electricity, kitchen, living room, game etc etc..
They cooked for us, and gave us food for breakfast.
This is a very good place between simplicity and tranquility.
We loved our stay.
It’s big wooden cabin so it be a little bit wet when it’s raining once day.
There isn’t wifi, but internet 3G works very well.

This is a very atmospheric giant bungalow, artistically decorated, with 2 compartments available for rent. It's far from any beaches, but makes a good culture-oriented stopover to explore the life in the main village of the island.

Incredible friendly staff, familiar situation, brand new wooden cottage made by mr. Op, breakfast in the morning with sticky rice with mango or sugar cane, organized by miss Mee.
Shared bathroom is a better choice for young travellers, the rooms are 2, like the bathrooms, so you can easily manage about it.
