The hostel has comfortable places to relax, including a net like a giant hammock next to a wall covered in plants. It was very relaxing. It is right in Old Town Phuket, which is amazing!
It took me a minute to figure out how to turn on the shower. I prefer hostels that offer breakfast, but Aekkeko has several cafés nearby and a street with fresh fruit stands right around the corner, so it wasn't a significant inconvenience.

Great location in the centre of the old town. Room was modern and clean. The shared bathroom was the cleanest and best equipped we’ve seen in two months travelling! Communal areas were nice and the staff were lovely too! Highly recommended.
