    It’s located in the heart of the old town. Super convenient to walk around. There’s a fresh market close by that you can get free vegetables and fruits. The staffs are friendly

    I would definitely recommend anyone this hostel. I checked in for 3 days and it was a good experience. The washrooms are clean, the staff is sweet, and the rooms + the beds are clean. I have left my stuff around the hostel and it all felt safe because the travellers are all very respectful. YET be careful about leaving stuff in the drying area. I went on a day tour and when I came back, I left my water shoes out to dry in the area of washing machines where they said I can leave my stuff to dry. Next morning, I was leaving so I was packing my stuff. I went there to fetch my shoes which were missing. I asked the staff about this and they were like "oh we threw them away". I was so shocked I didn't know what to say. The lady who works there offered me her apologies and also offered to give me her shoes instead. Ofc I didn't take her up on it but I was still pretty shocked how casually they threw the shoes away. Especially stuff that was their guest's property and something that was left out less than 24 hours. I thought they'd ask at least. So, just make sure you check 2-3 times before leaving stuff around and leave it in designated areas. I think the language barrier makes it a bit hard since the lady there speaks Burmese. Nonetheless, she was very sweet and came to smooth things over. All in all, def would recommend the place but just be careful about this and ask them where to leave stuff.
