Lovely stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at Bang Mee Homestay! The peaceful natural surroundings are beautiful — we saw hornbills, many birds, and even a big lizard from our terrace. It’s the perfect place to truly relax, especially while enjoying fresh coconuts. Bang Mee is a very warm and kind host. The bungalow is comfortable, well-equipped, and tastefully decorated. We can’t wait to come back!

Lovely island stay

I loved the small houses! Such an amazing place to stay in island! Host was verry supportive even though he didnt speak much english. Complimentary coconuts and brekfast super delicious and nice. Could not ask for more ❤️

Amazing view, connected with nature

Amazing view towards the lake surrounded by coconut trees, friendly staff and the bathroom is open, connected with the nature but you still have privacy, don’t worry :) not that many insects in the bathroom as we expected. We had hot water in the shower. It’s hot inside but the AC worked well. We received bottled water every morning.

What can be improved: - better towels, they don’t absorb water and they leave lint all over - the bed mattress is very though, it feels like sleeping on the floor

Central yet quiet accomodation at a Coconut farm

The surrounding area was green and peaceful with coconut palms and a pond. The location was quiet, although just a short walk away from 7/11, restaurants and shops. There is a nice porch, and the room was comfortable.

I wasn't a fan of the open bathroom wall. I was visited by both mosquitoes and a tree frog. Another issue was the insanely loud AC (it sounded like an old car engine). No breakfast was available, apart from complimentary mango sticky rice on the first morning.

Man-made comfy paradise ✨️ 💖

This hotel is a man-made paradise, we enjoyed our stay here so much, it was so peaceful and beautiful, we even saw hornbills flying around, villa's have a panoramic view onto a rice field and small pond, birds feast in the fields, it is central but not close to any major road so the noise doesn't bother, the only noise is sound of nature. We've used a scooter all over the island and saw the resorts for £120 / £60 per night, I can say that this is way better, let's imagine if all hotels would be for free on this island, I would still choose Bangmee, initially we had 2 nights booked here but we added more, look no further, you found the spot. The host is incredibly hospitable, and his daughter helped us a lot with all the local activities and ferry logistics. One evening we didn't want to stay at a restaurant, we just ordered food for takeaway and went back to this place. Try the coconuts, after multiple holidays across the world, they proved to be the best.

Great location! Cute breakfast of sticky rice :) Bangmee, the host is great, however as his English isn't the best, so we communicated with his daughter Anna via Whatsapp and she was able to answer all our questions.

Stayed in the 2 bed room, the double bed was really comfy but the single bed was very hard.

Amazing little huts, you get a welcome coconut drink, one morning there is mango sticky rice at your doorstep, very friendly hosts and they arranged a taxi + ferry for us, very glad we stayed there.

Bang Mee and Anna were wonderful hosts. Their property is beautiful and in a great location. The bungalow was very comfortable and well kept. They are some of the kindest people I’ve met in Thailand so far and were so accommodating of us, I would definitely stay here again!

My best stay

I came back to Bang Mee because I love it, this spot is perfect. Big windows with green area outside make me feel so good :) It’s quiet but super close to the market, 7/11 and other essentials. Anna helped me with everything - motorbike, boat transfer, taxi. Thank you so much for created such a lovely place. Hope to see you again :)

Beautiful lakeside bungalow in a jungle setting. Quiet, clean room, close to amenities and restaurants. Lovely family run place, good service, very kind and helpful. Coconuts are delicious! Amongst the better hospitality that I’ve experienced, at this price, in Thailand during a 5 weeks trip

Far away from nicer beaches on the east coast and I don’t drive a scooter so had to rent bicycle or taxi to swim in the sea every day… if you have a scooter this place is perfect

Highly recommended

Fantastic clean and comfortable bungalows. Nice and quiet, surrounded by palm trees. WiFi and air conditioning worked well. Close to the market area of Koh Yao Noi meaning there are shops and restaurants within less than 5 minutes walk. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful- they arranged motorbike hire, a taxi and even allowed us to stay an extra night. Highly recommended as a place to stay on Koh Yao Noi.

Although bottled water is provided we'd have liked somewhere to refill our drinking water bottles to reduce plastic waste

Everything was perfect Light, airy and very spacious...very welcoming atmosphere. The staff throughout the hotel were very , friendly and extremely helpful Anna and his father they always greeting and smiling to us. The location of the hotel is great because its an small island so if youre a traveler couple probably this will be the best place to be ,The room was very spacious and well equipped with all essentials and fantastic view. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to the tourists who want to go to koh yao Noi...btw they have taxi service and scooter rental if you need it. we would be happy to come back !!! Uprzejmość właściciela, czystość, lokalizacja, wszystko było rewelacyjne, wynajęliśmy skuter u właściciela, na przywitanie dostaliśmy kokosy które pan sam zerwał prosto z drzewa. Codziennie rano czekało na nas lekkie śniadanie i woda na tarasie. Obawialiśmy się że będzie dużo robactwa, nie było. Stosunek jakości do ceny… po prostu rewelacja, mam nadzieję że uda nam się w przyszłości wrócić!

Süße Unterkunft mit super lieben Eigentümern

Es ist genug Platz im Zimmer, es gibt einen Kleinen Kühlschrank und ich bekam jeden Tag Wasser und ein kleines typisches Thailändisches Frühstück auf meine Terasse gestellt. Rolleranmietung und Transport zum Hafen funktionierte ohne Probleme.

Das Licht ist extrem hell und man muss die Vorhänge eigentlich die ganze Zeit zu halten weil man sonst von allen Richtungen in das Zimmer sehen kann. Vielleicht wäre eine kleine Lampe im Zimmer noch zu zusätzlich sinnvoll damit man nicht das grelle Licht nicht anmachen muss. Und ein Ganzkörperspiegek wäre noch super.

Cadre reposant

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cet établissement. Les bungalows sont très agréables, situés dans un cadre calme et dépaysant, à proximité des cultures de noix de coco et d’un joli étang. L’endroit est vraiment charmant et reposant. La communication avec la fille du propriétaire a été facile et rapide, nous avons toujours eu des réponses à nos questions. Restaurant au alentours avec 7/eleven à 7min à pied

Petit point négatif concerne l’organisation des excursions. Lorsque nous nous sommes renseignés pour une sortie en bateau, le tarif proposé par le propriétaire était plus élevé que ceux d’autres prestataires locaux. Ayant choisi de réserver ailleurs, cela a semblé créer une certaine tension. Après cela, le prestataire n’a plus voulu venir nous chercher le lendemain pour nous emmener au port, craignant d’avoir des soucis avec le propriétaire. J’ai donc du réserver un transport jusqu’au port avec l’hôtel ce qui nous a contraints à payer un taxi beaucoup 3x plus cher que prévu.

Przepis na idealne wakacje

Gospodarze wspaniale się nami zaopiekowali. Pomimo, że śniadania nie było w cenie każdego ranka czekało na nas pyszne mango sticky rice. Przywitali nas świeżutkimi pysznymi kokosami. Nasz syn dostał cały worek karmy do kamienia rybek w pobliskim stawie. Przyroda była oszałamiająca. Tuż obok wypożyczalnia skuterów, które właściciele podstawili nam pod same drzwi. Szkoda, że nie potrafiłam jezdzic :(. Gospodarz ma swojego tuk tula, którym zawiózł nas na przepiękna plażę, gdzie byliśmy tylko my. Pod koniec dnia po nas przyjechał. Gospodarze pomogli też nam dostać się do portu i zorganizować podróż do Krabii. Wszystko to w dobrej cenie. Tuż za rogiem obiektu jest duży wybór jedzenia. Wszystko na wyciągnięcie ręki: 7/11, apteka..i blisko na pomost z najpiękniejszym zachodem słońca.

Lugn, trygg och fin vistelse

Vacker plats med fin liten damm utanför. Trevligt bemötande och fantastiska kokosnötter. Nära till restauranger men ändå en liten oas. Rekommenderar att hyra mopeder, vilket du kan göra på hotellet, för att kunna köra runt på ön, finns många fina platser att besöka och fantastiska vyer.
