The apartment i dont like it but sad we dont have time you change my bookinhmg i the picture is so good but if you are there im so dissapointed

The apartment inside the room was dirty, the bed was dusty, the bedsheets looked like they hadn't been changed, the pillow covers were dirty, my children and I stayed 3 times but there was only one bed so I slept on the floor, there was a comporter that I used to make my bed, even the kitchen ware is not good

Overall the stay was fine apart from the bed making noise and the tap in bathroom is broken.

The checking was easy. Although the code which host told me is not matching with the locker box. There were two codes one is for the main entrance which worked perfectly and one is to get the keys of apartment. When i reached the door of apartment the lock box is already open and the key was inside. The apartment is big enough, but the 2 rooms are separated by a single curtain which practically is not a room.

In bathroom the tap for the basin is broken which makes it hard to use. Beds are making noise when you just move a bit on it.

We had a delay in our flight, Jean-Francois supported us in his best to assist our check in. The apartment is spacious and very clean, we had a good rest during our stay.

charmy but tired apartment

An apartment with its own charm. High ceilings, chandeliers, huge beds. Private patio. On the other hand, everything is quite tired, the furniture is shabby, the dryer in the washing machine does not work. There are traces of mold under the sink.

One of the bedrooms is located between the living room and the second bedroom, has no windows and is separated from the second bedroom only by a curtain. I would say that this apartment is on the fan. If you like antiquity and charm - this is yours, if you prefer new repairs and more functionality - then it is better to look at something else

A convenient place for a short stay in the city.

Affordable price for a place at the outskirts of the city with plenty of parking spaces available free in the streets around the building.

Close to Charleroi airport which may be a good thing, but o the other hand far from the city centre.

Great place to stay in Charleroi

The apartment is comfortable and has literally everything you need. Usually when I stay somewhere I'm like "I wish they had that and that" but here I actually had everything. After I booked, I was sent a very detailed info booklet about the apartment, i.e. host clearly cares about guests enjoying their stay. Picking up the keys was very simple. The bathroom was very spacious. The kitchen table is big so you can eat while also having a laptop by the side. The curtains are very dark so sleeping shouldn't be a problem. Good location: there is Lidl & Aldi within 5 min walk as well as a tram stop to get to the city center. If you are coming from Brussels you can also take the 365a bus (although that stop is further away).

Bathroom tap and shower are very inconvenient: the tap is too short so when you wash your hands they hit the side of the sink. Shower was very bad: there are 2 separate taps for hot & cold and they are located very low so adjusting them was a pain, plus the shower holder kept falling off. Also there was no hook where you could put the towel. The internet was kinda slow. Also the password is a long combination of letters and numbers: it would be more convenient to have something memorizable. Even though the location appears to be close to the airport, there isn't any convenient way to get there by public transport other than going thru the city center. (This was not a problem for me because I wanted to see the city anyway but if you need to get to the airport fast it's best to stay in the center.)

Beds were comfortable. Host helped us get taxi to airport the following morning after our nights stay.

The location is great and only 10 mins from the airport but we had great difficulty getting a taxi. All taxi drivers only want to take people to Brussels. At one point we thought we may need to walk from airport to apt. The host helped us get a taxi the next morning so that was good.

5,5 km way to airport, needs taxi. Renovation done little badly, floors cracking, old cigaret smell can be problem for allergic people. But can stay couple days, no worries.

Good for a stopover, but some more attention needed

It is a good property, well located for a stopover if you are travelling from/to Charleroi Airport. Clean and comfortable, the appartment has everything what a traveller might need. Previous communication of the host is good, I personally liked the solution with hte key to be picked up from a code protected locker, it was an easy chweck in. Although prepare, that if you arrive late to Chareloi Airport, to get a taxi might be a nightmare (because of the short distance from the airport), so best is to pre-arrange a transfer. Also, if you leave for the airport, better to call a taxi in time not to be late.

Some more attention would be needed from host, we booked for 3 persons, and the second sofa bed was not prepared, and not even a blanket to be found in the appartment.
