Apartment La Casina

As other reviews mentioned, the property is adorable. It was clean and felt very homey.

I knew the bathroom was gonna be tiny based on reviews. It wasn’t a deal breaker but it definitely wasn’t practical. The listing said free toiletries and cleaning products. Toiletries = 2 bar of soaps. No shampoo. There was barely any detergent liquid left to do even 1 load of laundry. We had to buy shampoo and detergent ourselves which was inconvenient. We ended up leaving the detergent at the apartment. My husband and I were on our third week of travelling through Europe. We would have been fine with a 2-in-1 liquid body wash/shampoo but just bar soap is below standard.

The ambience. Such a warm and welcoming space. We thank Lucia for the privilege of being able to stay in her apartment. We loved the view, the location, eating and drinking and shopping with the locals. A special time. The highlight of our time in Florence.

Nothing - it was perfect.

I really liked an authentic Florence accommodation as first oh and great view. With terrace it would be an exceptional 11/10

Actually I liked it as it was.

Great location. Beautiful garden views and birdsong. Easy access with lift. Host gave good handover of amenities and what to do in Florence. Restaurant recommendations in the neighbourhood were excellent Quirky furnishings.

Bathroom very small. 2 sets of keys would have been helpful.
