Memorable and easy last night of our trip!

When our flight time changed and we realized we needed to be close to the Rome airport, I was pleased to find Albis guest house available and it was perfect! Less than a 10 min drive to the airport (but no airport noise.) The room was clean and well kept, with several "exceeeded expectations" features, like good charging station in the room, a luggage weight, privacy, and wonderful greeting by Armando and Roberta, alleviating any typical travelling concerns. We left at 7am and Armando was waiting with an extensive bag of snacks which we enjoyed the entire 13 hr travel time home. We especially loved being able to walk into Fiumicino and enjoy our last night of our trip in a cute coastal town...also unexpected for "next to the airport" type of lodging. A++++ all around! Thanks for making our last night memorable and easy!

Wow! What did I like? EVERYTHING! This place is amazing! The hosts were amazing! Unfortunately, I only spent 1 night for my flight the next day but could have easily stayed longer. If you do not have a car, you can walk about 15 min to the local bus stop, but make sure to have 1 euro (no way of getting a ticket or paying the bus driver with any other currency). From there, it goes directly to the airport. If you're just arriving, go to terminal 3, cross the street, in the middle area...it will say local bus on the concrete. From my experience, not many know about this bus, so ask using LOCAL BUS. Again, must have 1 euro. I think you can get a ticket in the airport but much easier if you have the coin. So recommended 10 🌟

Clean, Comfortable, Convenient at a Great Value

This is the second tie we have stayed at Albis, and I will return when we are traveling in or out of FCO. The staff is very helpful, the rooms are clean and well appointed (even including a luggage weighing device - so convenient and thoughtful!) and more. We had an early flight from FCO. Staff helped us arrange a taxi that was 12 Euro less than the ride from the airport to Albis (25 vs. 37) and they even made up a generous bag of snacks for us to take with us to enjoy at the airport and on the plane. The location is very convenient (10-12 minute cab ride from FCO) and within walking distance of the cruise ship port that has many restaurants to cover a variety of tastes. Some were open at the late night time of our arrival and we found the food to be good and the restaurant reasonably priced. Albis thinks of everything and provides what travelers need to make a stay near the airport just wonderful.

I can't think of anything I'd change. The price is very fair, the room was comfortable and clean. I can't comment on breakfast, the but snack bag provided to us 'to go' had a generous supply of pre-packaged food and juice drinks.

Horrible terrible worst traumatic

I asked for late check in. When I got there at midnight, because my flight was delayed I was locked out. Taxi driver said he took person there week before and they were locked out. Had to sleep at airport!!!!!

Horrible! Maybe don’t lock a guest out side and not answer when they were depending on you for a place to sleep. I am a nurse and a mom of four and was TERRIFIED!!!!!!! You don’t treat PEOPLE this way!! Change professions. This is not for you!!!!!!

A pleasure!

Armando and Roberta are exceptional caretakers...in the old school manner....proactive, communicative, polite, engaged and supportive at every turn. The reviews I read all stood up. They allowed me to leave my bags for several hours plus let me check in an hour earlier (2:00ish) and arranged a taxi to the airport.

The owners are friendly and so helpful. We love being able to walk into the small town for a choice of wonderful seafood restaurants. The location is perfectly convenient to the Rome airport.

Albis rooms guest house was by far one of the nicest little properties we stayed at during our stay! The facilities were all updated and the owners really pay attention to detail. Best part of the property was the host/hostess. They were so accommodating and friendly. They were so excited to have me as their guest!! When I told him, I had a flight in the morning, they helped me arrange a taxi, and because I was going to be missing breakfast, they provide me with a bag full of food. you will feel well loved if you stay here.

Perfect last stop at the end of our trip

Very clean, private, and comfortable place to stay. It's close to the airport, but also in a quiet location. A short walk to some great restaurants and the pier, where you can watch the sunset. Roberta and Armando were exceptionally kind and welcoming. They helped us book a taxi for our departure, and Armando even got up very early in the morning to send us off.
