The location of the property was excellent!

The WiFi did not appear to work. However, it was not really am issue.

Good location but very disappointed in the lack of care taken in the presentation of the property.

The location & parking. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped.

the property had not been cleaned properly.There was some prescription medication/drugs left in the bathroom cabinet along with a broken beaker and a dirty beaker. The bath mat was wet so it obviously was not a clean one. The bathroom bin had not been emptied - full of previous occupants rubbish. There was a dirty towel in the drawer. Blood on the bathroom floor. Several old used washing up sponges left by the sink, glad to find some new ones under the sink though. The bbq was not useable as it was rusted through. The patio chairs were worn through & not safe. The staircase handrail was loose & wobbly - unsafe. No welcome instructions, unable to find wifi code, after contacting owners found out it was a poor screen shot of the code left in a tatty plastic wallet, no explanation as to what it was.

The lay out

There was no wifi code and the router was in a garage next door?? The name of this property changed twice and originally advertised as linen included. Yet the final advert said it was €50 extra. Very confusing. The whole property was dusty and full of cobwebs. The throws over the seating were stained and grubby. We were a group of 4 old bikers so it wasn’t a major issue but I wouldn’t think the wife would be happy.

Perfect location. Great conservatory which gave additional seating in the notoriously changeable Normandy weather. Lovely modern layout for easy living.

Bath wasn't working due to a leak issue but was going to be repaired soon.

Excellent location for Gold Beach & Mulberry Harbours

Nice owners, excellent location 2 min walk from beach & very clean. Modern conservatory with sliding roof, dining table & chairs and nice new garden furniture. Good Washing Machine & some tablets were left for Dishwasher.

As another reviewer said, beds could be bigger & have a headboard. Upstairs Bath should be other way around as sloping ceiling prevents standing to shower. The same people also rent out the adjoining property & garden should be segregated / fenced for privacy and to stop other guests walking across the garden to use the hosepipe to wash sandy feet. BBQ needs replacing & some bedroom furniture shelving needs fixing that could all be done over the quieter winter season.

Very good location, quiet place, spacious house. We spend magnifficent vacation with other family that also fitted in the appartment. I booked a week next year again and it will be pleasure to come again.

Fijn verblijf in mooi huis op een hele mooie locatie

Wij zaten in Willy Jeep. Ruim huis met veel faciliteiten. Suoer vriendelijke host Laurant die een uurtje na onze aankomst ook nog kwam informeren of alles naar wens was. Locatie is fantastisch. Op loopafstand van het strand en als je voor de WO II aspecten komt, is dit een prima uitvals basis. Bij laagtij kun je over het strand naar Arromanche lopen.

De keuken is prima al is het opvallend dat er geen afzuigkap is. De bedden zijn voor lange mensen misschien wat aan de korte kant. Was geen probleem voor ons want wij zijn niet zo lang ;-)

Sehr schöne, moderne Unterkunft und netter Vermieter

Geräumige Doppelhaushälfte, ruhige Lage und nur wenige Schritte vom Strand. Hell und modern eingerichtet. Das Highlight war der Wintergarten, in dem man sich auch bei kühlem Wetter oder Regen prima aufhalten konnte. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Er hat uns umgehend bei all unseren Fragen geholfen, sogar bei der Suche nach einer Werkstatt. Danke Laurent!

Über dem Herd gab es weder Fenster noch Dunstabzugshaube, der Essensduft verteilte sich im ganzen Haus. Die Fenster könnten mal wieder geputzt werden, dort gab es viele Spinnen.

Top locatie en fijn huis, dat wat aandacht kan gebruiken.

Dit huis boek je vanwege de locatie. Wat een prachtig strand op 1 minuut lopen en heel dichtbij alle historische plekken van Dday. De omgeving is erg mooi en nodigt uit om te wandelen, fietsen en tochtjes met de auto te maken. Het huis ligt rustig, heeft 2 parkeerplakken en een serre (let op alleen Willy Jeep), waar je heerlijk kunt zitten tot laat in de avond.

Het huis en vooral de meubels hebben een update nodig. Vooral de bedden zijn niet van deze tijd. Te smal en te kort. Er zijn drie slaapkamers boven, met 1 badkamer met bad (niet geschikt om te douchen) en apart toilet. Er is ook nog een badkamer beneden met douche en daar ook een apart toilet. Dit is een hele rare indeling, zeker als je met z'n vieren bent. Het geheel heeft gewoon iets meer aandacht en liefde nodig, want het is in potentie echt een top huis.

Très bon séjour malgré une météo capricieuse.

L’emplacement près de la plage et à quelques minutes d’Arromanches et d’autres sites historiques. La réactivité de l’hôte alors que nous avions des problèmes de connexion internet. Très bon séjour.

Selon l’opérateur on peut avoir des problèmes de connexion au réseau GSM mais c’est un peu un fait dans toute la région. D’où l’importance de la connexion WIFI.

Plage à pied et logement ultra équipé !

Super séjour chez Laurent, logement très bien équipé et encore plus prêt de la plage qu'indiqué ! 200m grand max et vous avez les pieds dans le sable ! 2 salles de bain, une super véranda amovible qui apporte un vrai plus au logement, excellent week-end ! Nous recommandons fortement 😀
