BAD EXPERIENCE NOT TO BE REPEATED

The personnel was kind and helpful.

The area is very downgraded .The hotel is in a building near the rails of the main station of FIRENZE and it is very old.In order to go to the reception,you had to go out of the building and enter in a short of a shop area.There was not even toilet paper enough for my 2 days stay in the WC.The breakfast was very poor and when I went down at 9.00 oclock in the morning there was practically nothing left to eat and no replacement .In the room there was a machine for coffee but not coffee ...when I asked they said that they were short of tablets .I chose the hotel as it was near PITTI but in order to arrive there you had to pass from a very dirty and busy bridge where the atmosphere was unbearable and I had a hard time to breathe.DEFINETELY NOT WORTH FOR THE 220 EUROS I SPENT PER NIGHT .

Nothing good to say about this hotel.

When we arrived for the second time in Italy Rome being the first, we were put in what they call an annex. Basically this means they have bought an appartment or two and turned them into rooms, so you are living in the same building as local residents. You book a hotel and dont even stay in it. We were in room 302, the wall between this room and room 301 is so thin you can hear everything next door as if they are in your room. The room is advertised as a suite, it is not. We have stayed in suites before and at best this was an average size room not a suite. Then we come to the train noise. The so called hotel is virtually on the train tracks, the trains run until 01.30, then back on again at 05.30. So if you want to sleep, book somewhere else. As for breakfast, thats enough said, unless you like rubber sausage and scrambled eggs. We hated this place so much we left a day early. We paid nearly £600.00 for 3 nights, i would not have paid £60.00. Its time sights like booking.com and others started advertising accurate details about the properties they market as travellers are getting ripped off, and having their holidays ruined. No doubt the hotel will try and say all this is rubbish, but this is a true reflextion of this so called hotel. If you read this and still book it, then that will be your fault.

Location was approximately 10 mins from railway station. So convenient. The room was spotless, perfect in all aspects. The staff from the cleaner to the receptionist were so helpful, kind and nothing was too much trouble. I would thoroughly recommend this place.

WORST HOTEL EVER

This was by far THE worst hotel I have ever been. 1) there is no elevator, we had to carry our luggage to the 2nd floor and then drag them back to the first floor. 2) there is no TV in the room and the internet is not secured, we had to connect to our hotspot. 3) the doors closing are so noisy and annoying. 4) there was no shampoo in the room, just body wash. 5) the people there will ask you to pay cash, and if you pay by card, will charge you more. They made us pay the city tax by cash. When I paid for the water in the fridge by card, they charged me 1 Euro more. I would NEVER book this hotel again, even if it was free.

Very close to train station. Friendly staff. Held our luggage for a couple hours after check out so we could still explore without having to carry it around.

The hotel had very friendly staff but the hotel room itself did not have basic things. Smallest bathroom I ever witnessed. There were no toothbrushes or even a holder for them if you brought your own, so maybe you can leave them laying flat on the sink since the flat bar under the mirror was not able to safely hold anything since it was not level and everything rolled off. Good luck if you laid your phone on there. There was nowhere to hang a towel, there was no liquid hand soap. Just one of those small bars without even a dish for it. There are no blankets in the rooms. Due to "out of season" I understand that the weather is warm, but most people sleep with a blanket. I think this is nonsense. They said all the blankets are in the laundry. Outside end of October. Even if it's summer, people use blankets. Wi-Fi was magical. I had full Wifi-signal and somehow it would still take a few minutes to load a music video from YouTube. When you arrive for breakfast you will be happy they can make you a coffee or a hot chocolate because the juices were empty. There were scrambled eggs and hardboiled eggs. There were about 4 bread pastries to choose from. There were some hot dogs I did not try. If you like fruits or vegetables sorry there was non of that there. No plants of any kind. But like I said there was your choice of bread. I don't think this is a 3 star hotel. However the staff were very nice and credit is due where credit it due.

Luxor Florence provided an excellent breakfast, with a variety of tasty options, from foods to beverages. We would say there is something for everyone to enjoy a healthy breakfast with fruits, juices, hot beverages, yogurts, croissants, berries, eggs, to name a few of the choices.

There were no disappointments with Luxor Florence. On the contrary, the service from our arrival to departure was exceptional. Elizabeth and staff were very helpful and pleasant with our requests. We would absolutely return to Luxor Florence.

Very pleasant stay.

The location was easily accessible from the train station, even with luggage. (approx. 8-min. walk). It also was close to squares, cafes, restaurants and a Carre Four! AND, the 24/7 offer of free, strong coffee was definitely a surprise bonus! Very good coffee, better than anything you can get in U.S. and some cafes in Italy!

All the 4 staff whom we met were very helpful and friendly and could chat with us to make us feel welcomed; was fortunate to arrive on a public holiday hence parking was free most of the times within the blue lines; Train station and tram stop were nearby

Location was rather secluded, rather quiet area almost felt like and abandoned area, however it could be due to public holidays, hair dryer doesnt work for more than 30 seconds. Breakfast menu was very basic.
