Friendly and welcoming

The staff were extremely friendly and upgraded our room to one with a private bathroom. The room was clean and provided everything. One thing that we didn't get was a private fridge in the room, but that is to be expected at this price range. Overall, an excellent hotel near the city. It's a little far for walking into the central city but overall amazing.

Disappointing

Good size room

1 Bathroom was shared between over 7 rooms - worse than a hostel. Was dirty and the shower filled up with water after 1 minute, more like a hose than shower head. Also no toilet paper or spare anywhere..

Loved!

Loved this place! We booked the room with private bathroom, which was perfect. Staff was very kind, even cleaned our rooms daily, and allowed us to check out after hours.

The AC was weak and couldn't keep up with the heat in August.

Lovely Hidden Gem and Super Clean

The accommodation was exceptionally clean. As it was a shared bathroom this can sometimes be off putting but no need at all. It was large, clean and easy access. Room was a good size and just across from the bathroom. The apartment was on the first floor with easy steps or a lift. Few mins walk from the main train station was perfect on arrival and was about 15/20 mins to the Duomo but an easy flat walk. Would definitely return to this accommodation again

If walking back late at night you do have to pass the train station which has a lot of men/youths gathering on the steps. As two females we found it a little intimidating but not unsafe.. We just used the T2 tram for 2 stops to pass and it was absolutely fine as then just round the corner to the hotel.

When other guests came in late , because the doors are heavy, the doors and locks woke me. This is not a complaint, just something I didn’t like.

One of the best places to stay in Florence

The host is incredibly gracious and she makes sure her guests feel welcome. Bathrooms are clean, the breakfast is perfect, and the room was fantastic. The bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of space. The location is excellent too; very close to downtown and right next to the train station, but not so close to either you'll be bombarded with noise. It's extraordinarily quiet in that regard and that's exactly what I look for when I'm on vacation. Excellent place for you and a partner to stay while you roam the city.

There's not much bad to say here. The only thing I'd say is walls between rooms are pretty thin so you'll want to keep noise to a minimum, but it's a small price to pay for an otherwise fantastic spot.

She was very friendly and accommodating. Let us keep our stuff there even though we weren’t checked in. Delicious breakfast! 10/10 would stay here again and it’s right by the Firenze Terminal

Pleasant, basic accommodation for a Florentine visit

The staff were friendly, kind and helpful, even with a language barrier—which we overcame with hand gestures and laughter. They made a point to make us feel welcome, and helped us navigate getting a car at the ridiculously early hour we needed to leave. The room was much larger than I expected—which was nice—clean and comfortable, if very basic.

I was surprised that our bathroom wasn’t en-suite, and didn’t understand that it was exclusively ours until halfway through our stay. The staff didn’t really explain that on our arrival. The floor of the rooms are not carpeted and didn’t have rugs, so it felt a little like we were in bedroom-decorated classrooms—but the room size was generous, as previously mentioned so that was a compensation.

The room was big, clean, comfortable and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. My flight got cancelled so I booked last minute and the room was all ready to go as soon as I got in thanks to the lovely staff.

Too noisy, the walls are like paper and you can hear all your neighbours, specially the cars, because the house is located on one of the main streets in Florence. Our towels were not changed for 4 days.

smelly, very strong cigaret smoke smell while we were there. We selected NON SMOKING when selecting accomodation through Booking.com. Don’t know if it was another room or the owners, but cigaret smoke turned us off. Breakfast was light on, but good. Cappuccino were weak and tiny, felt guilty asking for a second one.

The location, bathroom, size of room

The dampness of the room. Really dark. Bed felt damp. Wi-Fi was super weak and unreliable. After staying here have bumps all over body not sure if it’s bed bugs but it’s only thing we’ve changed on our routine with staying here
