The property is on a quiet & peaceful neighbourhood, yet within very easy walking distance of Norwich city centre. It is easy to find & to access. The entire place is clean, tidy, well organised & free of clutter. … Books are not clutter.

Great location and excellent host in a warm and welcoming home.

Anne welcomed us into her home, arranged for a parking permit and explained the facilities, nothing was too much trouble. As someone new to Gluten Free way of eating, i was delighted to hear that the whole house is GF, therefore the breakfast was delicious; GF toast, cereal and homemade granola (so lovely that I asked for the recipe). There was an interesting array of books in the room, fruit, nut bars, a fridge containing milk and water and a kettle. There was a TV but we didn't need it. The house is ideally situated within walking distance of the Theatre royal and city.

There was nothing that we didn't like! On departure, my partner mentioned that he usually likes a cooked breakfast which Anne immediately said she would provide next time if he asks in advance. Anne was a wonderful host.

The hostess was wonderful! The bed was comfortable and the granola was really delicious!

A bit far from the station. We walked there from the station. Our host offered to drive us back to the train when we left. Very kind!

Anne is an extremely helpful, considerate host and runs a very welcoming homely homestay.

I felt very relaxed in the homely atmosphere and enjoyed the selection of teas available in my room. I'm gluten intolerant and so the simple, gluten-free breakfast couldn't have been better!

Lovely stay with delightful host.

Norwich Homestay is quiet, immaculately clean and well-located about 10 minutes walk from the centre of Norwich. Very comfortable bed and good adjacent bathroom. However, what really sets this place apart is the owner/host, Anne. Her warmth, care and hospitality are outstanding. It is quite obvious that she genuinely wants her guests to enjoy their stay and she does all she can to ensure that this happens. How refreshing. Her absolutely delicious breakfasts (especially the organic granola) should also be mentioned.

Great communication with the owner and made to feel very welcome on arrival. The owner was lovely, so helpful and seemed to really care about her guests. She made my stay exceptional in every way and ... the breakfast was delicious.

Lovely stay! Home away from home. Great conditions plus the owner makes you feel great. Add to that fantastic location, delicious and varied breakfast and you've got your spot in Norwich ;) Pity it was only one night.

Pleasant homestay

Kind, friendly host. Very clean and comfortable room. Large, well appointed separate private bathroom with excellent water pressure and hot water. Delicious gluten free breakfast in lovely room overlooking rear garden landscaped for wildlife. Easy 15 walk to city center. Variety of restaurants at top of street

Insufficient outlets (had to unplug lamp and kettle to charge phones.) Unkempt appearance of front garden gives inaccurate impression that property may not be well maintained. Neighborhood is less attractive than some parts of Norwich but seemed perfectly safe to us.

Perfect location for Norwich city for a couple of nights.

Location was exactly as advertised. So easy to get into the city. Parking was free as stated and plenty of space to park. Host was welcoming and friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Room is fairly sized for two people and I would recommend staying here to others. Bathroom is large with a good shower (this always makes a difference to me!) Breakfast is gluten free which is wonderful to me as I try to be gluten free. My partner isn’t but he enjoyed the fresh fruit and gluten free toast too.

Extremely thoughtful hostess and GH with good access to local eateries and nearby old Norwich.

Anne was very attentive and friendly, wanting to ensure that we had absolutely everything we needed. Continental breakfast with many choices. Our room was spotless and with lots of thoughtful touches. It overlooked her back garden full of trees and shade. Good wifi. Bathroom just for us across the landing. Parking is across the quiet road and free by disc arranged by Anne. The location is less than a mile to walk into the city centre, but due to the heat we took our car. There are plenty of places to eat just at the top of her road.

Not Anne's fault, but we stayed during the recent heatwave and, despite Anne's providing an electric fan and closing the blinds during the day, it was very hot and so difficult to sleep.

Clean and welcoming but someone’s home at the end of the day

Ultra clean. Very friendly and welcoming host. Very comfortable bed. Great coffee in the room. Great location

Being in someone’s home, was not personally for me, despite the warm welcome. The separate bathroom also did not personally work for me. The tv did struggle to pick up lots of channels. Taking shoes off at the front door, also reinforced it is Anne’s home and not just a business opportunity. Recognise the host, Anne, did her best to facilitate my stay, but overall a bit more limited compared to other places I’ve stayed in Norwich in the same price bracket. And as I’ve said it really felt like a bedroom in someone’s home, which it is.

Breakfast is a vegan, gluten free, my partner enjoyed it. Ann the owner was very friendldy and helpful.

My partner has an allergy to the carpets. The room was quite small, but pleasant. The vegan breakfast was not for me, I am a English breakfast lover. It should be noted in the information.

You won’t meet a lovelier host… Anne will greet you with a genuine warm welcome For us it was the personal homely touches that made this a very unique and memorable experience Breakfast of both homemade bread rolls and mixed fruit jam (with fresh strawberries) next to the mini “garden of Eden” made for a very relaxing start to our day Not overlooking the purpose of our stay (I’m still thinking about the bread rolls) ….Annes home is perfectly located in the City’s centre which allowed for us to just park up and stroll into Norwich Thank you so much Anne for sharing your home with us ….we felt that we had arrived as guests and left as friends :)

A wonderful base

We so much appreciated Anne's warm welcome. We had a lovely room and use of a large bathroom. Not only was it super comfortable and clean, there were countless personal touches such as homemade bread, local jams, and vegan pastries from the local baker. There was also a great range of tea and coffee for use in the room. Going away, we are always just looking for a 'base'. This is one of the most delightful and enriching ones you could have.

Oh my! Where do we start? Anne is the perfect host. Attentive without being intrusive, Keen to understand and satisfy the minutest details. Superb breakfast with completely organic food. Home-made bread - oh please, YOU need to taste it! Anne made us special herbal omelletes like we've never tasted before. SO good. Danish pastries freshly made. Natural honey, preserves, natural ground coffee, herbal infusions. Large bathroom. Free access. Free parking. Superb location walk to City Centre. Running out of words. This is not your typical AirBnB. This is a warm and lovely experience.
