Sand Bay Holiday Village - Adults Only

The Staff were very polite and friendly, the chalet was a bit dated but was clean throughout, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom more than adequate for my Wife and I needs, overall YES would stay again, just a quick word about the food every meal was hot and plentiful also a very good variety to choose from.

The only thing we didn't really like was the TV,it was the size of a postage stamp and with the volume right up it was hard to distinguish was what being said, really apart from that, there is nothing we didn't really like.

They seem to have added new chairs and flooring in the restaurant also there is WiFi throughout now, also the swimming pool is still nice and clean and the water is warm, there are new mattresses as well.

There are no chairs in the rooms but they are in the club rooms, the meals at night are passable, I went swimming twice, the lifeguard is very miserable, he never speaks and he spends a lot of time glued to his mobile phone, he gives me the impression that he doesn't enjoy his job, the drinks are very pricey.

Good location. Quiet.

Sheets didn’t quite fit the slippy mattress/or wasn’t put on correctly as slid straight off as soon as you got into bed on the mattress protector. One of the towels had brown stains on it that put me off using that towel.

Location good, Food quite good value for money. Entertainment quite good.

No Shower in en suite. Extremely bad smell in Chalet number 110. Had to buy air fresheners etc it was fowl. Beds not made properly on arrival only one out of the two twin beds had mattress protector on. Was told by booking.com that the swimming pool etc was closed....but it was open and we had not taken swim wear!! Several buildings smelt very very musty due to age of site. Was not offered upgrade at all on either of our rooms booked which were rooms 109 & 110. Both rooms very old etc. Would not stay again or recommend this to anyone, sadly.
