Getting to the address was a bit of a challenge using GPS. Destination was leading me directly outside the fence on the main road.

Carlow comfort

Modern house, very clean, comfy bed, untucked duvet, central location within 20 mins walk from restaurants.

The bane of modern day houses.. heat pump motors and extractor fan could be annoying for sensitive sleepers.

A stay for one night

The room was modern, clean and spacious and so was the bathroom. Wifi was good.

Poor lighting specifically in the bathroom, the heating did not work in the evening, the room was cold. It would be great to have a stainless steel kettle. No cables on TV.

The location was perfect.

The tv switched off at 11.30 - we were watching a movie and the tv shut off! The soap in the bathroom was watered down!

Comfortable and a great location for us

Very clean room which was comfortable and warm. The bathroom and shower were lovely and modern. Oliver was very welcoming and friendly.

There was some noise during the night from the room next door in terms of very loud snoring which kept me awake but absolutely nothing to do with the host - just a consideration for others that it’s not totally soundproof.

First class accommodation

Staying a couple of nights to attend a wedding nearby Room was very clean and quiet. Bathroom and shower first class and spacious with plenty of towels and shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. We know we weren't getting breakfast so we went up to the town to the cafe Waterlilies for coffee and buns and to the pub Duneen where we sat in the beer garden and had a great scrambled eggs n bacon!

Enjoyable stay and highly recommend

The location is great, nice and quiet area. Oliver was very accommodating allowing me to check in a bit early due to going to a wedding. Spacious room with a lovely ensuite along with a kettle with tea and coffee provided in the room.

The light in the bathroom was not very bright and for a woman who wants to do her makeup this was a bit challenging. The ability to turn the exhaust fan in the bathroom on an off would have been a plus.za

Nice and quiet estate

Bed was very comfy and bathroom had a fabulous shower. House was very modern and had free parking out front.

No access to kitchen, maybe a mini fridge in room might be helpful. Bad reception on tv, couldn't even get RTE sometimes. On two occasions while I was watching movies, the tv just seemed to shut down at 11.30pm and would not turn back on, very strange. I came back one night while it was dark outside and had to get out of car to punch in access code to open the gate, it was a bit scary for a female as I was alone.

The house was not what I was expecting it was better I thought I was been given a bedroom in a normal house but this place is beautifully set out and modern it's like a hotel private very clean brilliant big walk in shower with a choice of two heads bed is big and spacious the place took me by surprise as you walk in there's an envelope with your name room number and in it is your main door and room key Would stay here again Dislikes it's advertised saying playground with a picture of a playground along with tennis and basketball The tennis and basketball was there but playground is completely gone advert should be edited and playground taken out of it Tv most of the apps needed to be updated and when I tried to update them it would get to the 100% then say failed and utube wouldn't loaded up atal

The host was wonderfully informative and accommodating. The property was clean and well serviced.

For me, personally, I found the pillow too high. I, personally, would rather have two smaller pillows or a softer, more malleable pillow, to allow some adjustment. However, that absolutely would not put me off recommending Mount Woleseley Guest House or booking here again.
