Just perfect

Fantastic staff. Localization is perfect, since it is not as "touristy" as other cities around Lake Como. Great local restaurants just minutes away. Really cool breakfests :)

Great property and the owner is very nice and welcoming. He talks to every guest and really works on making sure your experience is great! He has a lot of good insights of the region too and is always happy to help.

Lovely, relaxed and very friendly

So friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble, Mattia was wonderful. Our stay was fabulous, comfortable and spacious room, the atmosphere was laid back and we throughly enjoyed our stay . We would visit again. Mattia’s guide was excellent.

Literally one of the best hotels for an affordable price

It was clean and quiet. The view was stunning and the breakfast was very much to our liking. The staff is also very friendly, this hotel is 100% worth every penny.

Exceptional, extraordinary, feel good factor!

It's a family run hotel with all their members doing their job wholeheartedly. The owner is a very kind and caring (and a lot of fun too!), always helpful giving advice where to go and what to do. The restaurant is amazing too with delicious meals and desserts. In my opinion it's the best place to stay in Como Lake, it's very easy to get around unlike other touristy crowded places, at the same time close enough to the getaway to beautiful scenic drives in north (Berninapass, Silvaplana, St Moritz). Shame there's only ten stars to give.

Excellent hotel

The owners were really friendly and approachable. Mattia went out of his way to help us and speaks many languages very well. The food in the restaurant was delicious and homemade and we ate there every evening. Highly recommend.

Nothing not to like. Maybe a kettle in our room to make tea would make it even better. Just a suggestion.

Everything from the location to staff was amazing. It just fitted perfectly on our route budget and expectations. Mattia and his "mama" are great people. The food was EXCELLENT and precious, and I was only sad that I couldn't enjoy it more. We'll be back, Mattia! Grazie!

Hotel Europa is a very nice family-run business. The owners are very friendly, accommodating and make you feel very welcome. They are happy to give you further tips to explore lake Como. The room was clean and comfortable. Last, but not least, the hotel restaurant serves excellent home made pasta. It was the best we had throughout our entire trip in Italy.

Great vacation at the north of lake Como

The hotel is located perfectly, next to the lake and walking hikes in the area. The owner is very nice and generous, gave us excellent advise about things to do in the area. The hotel has a restaurant at evening, all the cooking is home made by the owners mom! We ate there all of our stay, and it was the best food we had in Italy! With authentic Italian dishes, really recommended!!

We really loved the environment and the hotel. Mattia, his family and staff are very nice and helpful. Happy we could park our bikes in the garage. Mattia's language skills are certainly a big advantage in his job!

Comfortable stay with the family.

Very kind hosts (family-owned hotel), private parking free and right in front of the hotel, good food, nice surroundings, close to the lake Como, possible to play various sports in the vicinity.

The location is a bit far away from other popular towns and beaches on the lake, the breakfast is not a classic buffet but you need to order food, no mosquito net on the windows.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Europa Hotel. Mattia and his family showed great hospitality and they are so heartwarming and friendly which makes us feel like you're staying in a Italian friend's house. The food from their kitchen especially the tortellini and tiramisu are so delicious. And the view out through our window , is the perfect combination of the lake and mountain. Breathtaking!
