Excellent breakfast, excellent location
Could not get Club Orange or Bombay Saphire Gin in the bar. Disappointing as they are my wife's favourites

We loved the Western Hotel. It felt both traditional and modern. The rooms were very comfortable and large. The lobby was so lovely and inviting. We enjoyed both breakfast as well as cocktails at the bar. All staff were so accommodating and kind. The location was great. A quick walk to Eyre Sq but enough distance that it was quiet.
I would absolutely stay at the Western next time I’m in Galway.

Shower was lovely
Reception told us bar was open until 1 am but it shut very abruptly shortly after 12 with no advance warning. Bar man was quite rude .
