Needs an update

Location was good and easy to park

No USB charging ports in room and hotel had no conversion plugs to lend. Drains in bathroom of room 103 blocked - terrible stench and nothing done about it for our 2 night stay. Invalid mother put in first floor room as requested due to no lift which was just about acceptable but bathroom had bath shower which she could not climb in. Hotel needs updating and some TLC. Front garden nice chairs - but dead plants - leaves and debris in corners and ash tray full of cigarettes- not at all inviting to sit in. Plant troughs just empty wire baskets on front of building so again no care …yet the little village full of pots and troughs of flowers…

We stayed for only one night before the ferry when everything was very quiet, but we were very happy with our family room and the breakfast was absolutely excellent.

The pull out child's bed was rather too hard for our daughter.

If you like Spirited Away, this is your place.

The location is great, breakfast was superb. Friendly staff when available.

I am going to be honest here: the building is old and tired, during most of the day and the entire night there is nobody there! It's like a ghost hotel with some lights on, but not a soul around. I felt like I was in Spirited Away. At night there was a strange whining noise in my room that after a while drove me almost mad, so I called to see if somebody could fix it, or give me another room. "We will come immediately!" they said, but after an hour there still was nobody. Finally someone came and acknowledged that the sound was there, and couldn't fix it, so I was given another room. Very friendly but not very efficient. I was very tired and had to move my stuff again, went to bed 2 hours later than I wanted.

If you want to experience a typical french family hotel, this is the place to be.

Staff : extremely friendly & nice. You ask somethng they arrange it. The hotel itself is a typical family hotel, don't expect the experience of a big hotel from a famous chain, but this is much more cosy and personnal. The hotel is old but clean. Breakfast was good.

The booking was arranged at very short notice so thanks to the owner for the room. The location by the sea and dunes was lovely.

A hidden jewel - a perfect place for a romantic getaway or for beach lovers or for anyone who biking

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel was comfortable and quiet. The location was perfect for anyone who wants to spend time, as we did, riding bikes along the Normandy coast.

I can't think of anything I would change.

The location was perfect! The hotel was nice and lovely and very close to the beach! Breakfast was good. The staff - very friendly!

There were not enough towels per person and shower gels/soaps were not replenished daily, but this issue was quickly sorted out.

Close to the beach, sea view from my room

Very dirty room, old furnitures, not sticking to corona restrictions (be cautious), first night very bad smell in the floor and room, no info regarding parking lot, sometimes no reception during the day, staff not always friendly, room was not cleaned on 3rd day (after telling the staff they said it is my fault and just gave me new towels). Wifi did not work all days. No discount was offered but breakfast for free one day.

Hôtel familial et chaleureux

Accueil chaleureux et charmant. On se sent tout de suite bien dès qu'on arrive. Chambres spacieuses et lits ultra confortables. La chambre familiale est parfaite avec une petite chambre à côté avec 2 vraies lits pour les enfants. Le petit déjeuner était très bon et copieux avec un vaste choix pour toute la famille.

Chambre au 1er étage devant square arboré, au calme et tout confort. Balcon équipé de table et chaises. L'hôtel est à 100 m de la plage et des dunes, et en plein centre ville. Literie en 160 confortable. Petit déjeuner très copieux avec multiples gateaux maison + viennoiseries.Parking en face. Propriétaire sympathique. Bonne adresse !
