Our Room view was looking at garbage containers in courtyard.Pictures on line look much better than hotel really looks in person. Beds are comfortable. Has a good restaurant on site.

Hotel in a convenient spot if you have a car. Beds are hard and have a plastic cover on the mattress which makes them hot. Our room wasn’t ready upon arrival at 4:30 pm. Breakfast good, dinner there not good. Bathroom is weird, no counter space. Would prob not stay here again.

This hotel was close enough to the ferry port at Caen without the hectic noise of a port. The ample parking was great. And the breakfast was enjoyed by all in our party of four. We stayed here after our late night ferry arrival. And a great choice rather than the long drive to destination

The hotel was fine till we tried to check out. We were told we had not paid for the rooms in front of other guest. Showed our email from you proving we had. Took 30 mins before they agreed we had. We wanted to make a good on our 200 mile journey. This spolt our stay at the hotel which we enjoyed

The service, from the reception staff to the room servicing staff were excellent. The rooms were warm, clean and well equipped. They were quiet and comfortable but the absence of tea and coffee making facilities were noticeable. The attached steak house was a nice distraction as the only other food in the immediate area was a fast food burger chain. The food was excellent and cooked to perfection. There is a bar within the steak house but you have to return to the hotel reception to drink it. The reception staff will go and get drinks for you and add them to the room bill but this does take a while as they are very busy and new customers checking in take up their time. I would give the hotel and staff top marks but the lack of a kettle could improve a already excellent experience

We used the Ibis hotel for an overnight stop having got off the late ferry at Ouisteram. While the room lacked character it was modern clean and had all the facilities that we required to catch a good nights sleep before travelling on. The buffet breakfast the next day was more than adequate, check-in and checkout were very efficient. Overall just what was required.
