Amazing stay at the Lake District

Amazing house. Brilliant location. Fantastic host. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. There are so many walks in the are- we were spoilt for choice. But because the house was so great, we were (almost) tempted to not even leave the house for the whole weekend!

Beautiful location, only 10 mins from Keswick. Absolutely stunning views all around the property. Large barn conversion extremely spacious. Everything needed for self catering. Log fire perfect for the evenings 👌 saw the stars on a clear night above the property. Amazing!

The best property we have stayed in so far.

The whole house is amazing. Spacious rooms that are cleaned to a high standard and comfortable. This has to be the most well thought out of property's we have ever stayed in..we wanted for nothing. The wood burning stove was set up ready to use on our arrival. The bed is so comfortable and huge. The garden is pretty and private. The owners were on hand should we needed and we there to give us a warm welcome on arrival. The property is a mile away from the village of Braithwaite which has a shop, a tearoom and cafe. We walked over the hills to get there although the walk on the roadside would be less challenging. We didn't want to leave and are already planning our return.

Location, views from every window, spacious, private, everything you needed was on hand (I.e. kitchen appliances and equipment, washing machine, tumble dryer, logs for the fire, blankets, towels etc.), hospitality.

Fantastic quiet location, amazing Mountain View’s from the property. Clean, no dogs allowed, gorgeous Kingsize bed and bedroom. Quality furniture, towels and kitchen utensils and crockery.

Exceptional property in a fantastic location with stunning views. Very comfortable super king bed. Large well equipped kitchen and dining area. Rooms are huge, immaculately decorated and furnished. Highly recommended.

Such a beautiful property and location. Spotlessly clean and tidy. The bed, which is huge was very comfortable, very good quality bedding too. Lots of information of surrounding areas and places to visit. A perfect getaway.

The facilities were excellent! Host was lovely. Beautiful house in a beautiful location. The house was spacious and beautifully furnished with lots of attention to details. A 10 minute drive from keswick, and in a beautiful location surrounded by hills.

BEYOND PERFECT

Everything was absolutely perfect!! The property was very veryyyy clean and organised, very well equipped with many board games, card games, and DVD’s. Dave was lovely as well as his labs who are extremely well behaved and trained and they made our stay even more amazing with wagging tails if you want to call them over for a pet or a game of fetch. Thank you for the wonderful welcome Dave, Ruby and Will :) PS: Dogs are well trained and if you tell them to stay they won’t approach you. Dogs are also not allowed in the property at all
