Nice clean cottage located in a good location for climbing Catbells and visiting sites around Keswick. 15 mins walk from the cottage to the starting point of Catbells hike via Newlands Valley / Little Town route, which approaches Catbells from the quieter south-western side. Keswick town was 15 mins drive.

Do not rely on the postcode CA12 5TU as it does not lead you all the way to the cottage. You have to go further than where postcode stops on the Sat Nav. Instead follow this 54°34'06.7"N 3°11'46.3"W A few bit I would recommend adding would be, shower head to the main room as it only had a bath tub and WIFI, not absolutely necessary but would be a great addition if possible even if a fee to use it were to be included.

Wonderful location, great spa passes, great views.

It was hard to find from the instructions, which they are going to remedy. We didn’t get all the instructions we needed but again this seems to have been an error from the booking agents and they are going to rectify this too. There is lots of noise from the flat above, you can hear every footstep and movement.
