A brief but memorable stay in a lovely, spacious apartment with amazing views

Fantastic location - amazing views from the living room window, especially in the sunshine with the snow-topped hills. Excellent facilities in nearby Braithwaite, plenty of parking space, lovely walks from the doorstep.

The instructions asked for all bedding to be removed on the final day and placed with towels, etc in the 'Aldi bags provided'. We were unable to locate these bags and so left all the above together in the main bedroom. this really is the only comment I can think of in this section!

Great place, recommend- just needs a new double bed!

Fantastic location and view. Really helpful host who answered a lot of questions. Great living space - warm and well furnished and equipped.

Only things to improve would be: 1. the double bed which we found crippling- we bought a mattress topper, and even with that and just one of us sleeping on it at a time it gave us both bad back ache. 2. Maybe to get cleaners to use a stronger vacuum as we and the people in the apartment opposite found ourselves sneezing all week. It felt clean but possibly dust mites if hoover isn’t strong? Aside from those things a great stay!

Great location spacious apartment

Impressive sized apartment that had everything we needed. The hosts put the heating on before we arrived but as we'd just walked back from the shop 1.7 miles away I turned it down. Great location if you want to get away from it all but close enough to Keswick and all it's amenities. Big bed was very comfortable. The second bedroom was unused but looked clean and tidy and perfect for 2 kids. No hesitation in recommending this place for a family of 4 as it's a quite spacious open plan kitchen dining living area.

Nothing to dislike but the road is very narrow so drive slowly and arrive in daylight. Numerous passing places so if you have oncoming vehicles just pull in or reverse to let them through

Beautiful country stay

The location is beautiful. It had good parking. The views out all windows were spectacular.

It was a little difficult to get there. We arrived as it was getting dark. The roads getting to the property are very narrow -not wide enough for 2 cars in spots and you have to be mindful of sheep in the road. The bed was very hard.

Very comfortable, spacious and clean flat. The location is amazing for the views and walks. We also met the host who is very friendly and helpful.

The flat was a bit overheated for our liking. We turned the heating down but we felt it was too warm on arrival.

Cozy home with amazing views

With freezing temperatures, the accomodation was cozy at all times. Fantastic duvets on the beds. As a group of foodies who visited a deli on route, we found the kitchen to be well equipped. I'm sure the local walks were lovely but at - 9 degrees and slippery, we didn't take full advantage of the local area and visited Christmas markets instead. Views were terrific and we took some great photos.

It is a wonderful property located in.peaceful location You can spend a day at the property looking outside the window at the beautiful scenery, reading up some books provided in the room or playing some board games. The kitchen is also fully functional in case you want to cook up meals. Very well maintained. .
